I have always been quite the arguer. As a child, I would always ask why, and never take no for an answer. As a result, many disputes occurred over on my TV allotment, bed time, and candy consumption. Of course all of these conflicts ended poorly for me, as any legitimate argument, that I could probably not have even produced at the time, would have been crushed by the most compelling argument of all, my parents authority over my life. So as I grew up, I remained argumentative with my parents, brothers, friends, teachers, and pretty much anyone else who wasn't me. The administrators were extra happy as it showcased our schools pride as it went viral. Of course nobody had any major qualms with this. However junior year the student government with a bit of pressure from the administrators decided that we would do a second lip dub. Initially there were little concerns but as we neared and finally completed the project a host of issues popped up. While the last lip dub had been for a charity and showcased our schools spirit through our clubs and sports teams, this lip dub was for charity in name only and the planning of the event was delegated to a small group of friends rather then all of student gov. As a result the production quality ended up being comparatively poor, over half of the music was pirated and passed off as an original work, and rather than focusing on the school it was focused on the singers who were made up of people who were friends with the producers, many of which who were not the best role models to be representing our school.
