Title of Article: Varicose Veins: Diagnosis, Management, and treatment.

Author(s) of Article: Sylvia Zhang, RN, and Shelia Melander, PhD, ACNP-BC, FAANP, FCCM.

Background of Authors: Ms. Zhang is an adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner student at the school of nursing of California State University in Los Angeles. Dr. Melander is a guest lecturer and board certified acute care nurse practitoner.

Determine the Style Manual which the authors used in preparing the article .What kind of format do the authors follow regarding citations and references:
The authors used American Medical Association .Maximum of 5,000 words inclusive of all headings, titles, author information, keywords, abstract, text, references, and citations.

What style Abstract do the authors use: Utilized single paragragraph without subheadings that was concise and factual.

Rate the ease of reading the article, e.g. is it well organized and easy to follow the logic? Yes. Is it complicated and difficult to follow the thoughts? No. Does the article always clearly define the use of acronyms so that you do not have to keep searching for their meaning? Yes. Is the sentence structure so lengthy that you get lost trying to follow the thought? No.
