CHAPTER 3
Research Methodology
This chapter contains the research design of the study, which is the description of the participants and the techniques for gathering the respondents. Furthermore, this chapter discusses the data gathering procedures and the statistical treatment of the data.
Research Design The researchers used descriptive design, which are the comparative and correlational methods. Descriptive method is used to obtain information concerning the current status of the phenomena to describe what exist with respect to variables or the conditions in a situation (Key, 1997). Comparative study identifies the similarities and the difference between the variables across societies. Correlational study determines whether or not two variables are correlated (Kalla, n.d.).
