But another idea along with that expansion is adding Siri to very many popular brands of cars. One of the main drawbacks may be that in order to have Siri installed, the car is also going to require a reliable connection and a well-stocked server. Adding Siri can somewhat reduce prices of the cars such as the factory add-on of a navigation system that adds on thousands of dollars to retail price. It also has very many technological benefits. They are trying to take away some of the distracting parts that cause car accidents by turning some of those simple car functions into voice command. Some other points that they try and make are that voice commands might not be visually distracting but they are cognitively distracting. We can talk to objects and hear the responses, which may be better than having your phone in your hand but talking can still distract you.
