Coast to coast, fund to fund, social media platform to social media platform and everywhere in between, over the past 72 years the movement of the B’nai Brith Girls has done nothing but constantly improve and excel in every aspect.
We have branched out to new communities around the world to start new chapters, we have worked tirelessly to raise more money for the International Service Fund, and we have increased our presence on social media. By working close with my co and the M’GOSK Network, I want to ensure that all teens involved in this organization are constantly aware of what is going on. Social media is a constant in the lives of high-school students so it’s imperative that we utilize it to the best of our ability. From videos to resource guides to counterpart calls, giving BBG’s the tools they need to be successful on their own will only help to brighten the Jewish future around the world.
The International Service Fund is such an important part of who we are. By having this fund we have the ability to raise money for those who might not be as fortunate as us. With the help of the this fund we are able to bring more international teens to different summer programs and to International Convention. It is up to us to think of creative fundraisers that will assist us in raising money to help fund the International Service Fund.
Our global movements initiative to “Act Globally, Impact Locally” should not be undermined. We will continue to encourage chapters and regions to think of their own ways to globalize so that their members can have a direct impact on the future of the Jewish
