Explain the function and location of the gallbladder and the spleen.
The gallbadder is part of the bilary tract small, hallow, pear-like organ located on the right side of the abdomen right under the spleen. Its function is to collect bile, which is a deigestive liquid made in the liver. The spleen is the biggest organ in the lymphatic system, and it is located right under the ribs on the left side of the abdomen above the stomach. The spleen’s main function is to filter blood. White blood cells and platelets are stored in the spleen, and old red blood cells are recycled thee.

The two important hormaones that are made in the thyroid triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4) regulate a person's metabolism. The function of the thyroid can have an affect on a woman's ability to can pregnant because it controls ovulation.
