Baby Photographer Research Paper

Payton and Samantha brought their little guy into my baby photographer studio for his newest milestone portraits. I met this couple for the first time when they brought Cullen in for his newborn session. He was just a week old at that time. The time flies by in a heartbeat! This time he was brought in for a cake smash session. While it's hard not to love all kinds of baby sessions, these are some of my favorites.

His parents say that he is a happy, active and talkative boy who loves being outside. Silly sounds and funny faces make him laugh, but his favorite thing is eating. I was warned to keep the cake away until it was cake smash time. He really dug into that cake when the time came too. It was a blast to watch him play in the cake and

Diane Arbus Research Paper

...For quite some time, the professional world was run by men. So, in an effort to write a research paper that genuinely interested me, I wanted to find a successful woman in the photography field. Diana Arbus gave photography a breath of fresh air and showed the world just how crazy, and beautiful, New Yorkers are. She believed that the camera could be "a little bit cold, a little bit harsh.” but that it revealed the truth and the difference between what people wanted others to see, and what they actually did see. She used her peculiar view of the world to document the lives of people who would otherwise not be recognized and that makes the case for her innovative artistry. One of the most distinctive photographers of the 20th century, Diane Arbus was born March 14th, 1923 in New York City. She was the second child to David Nemerov and Gertrude Russek Nemerov, a Jewish couple who lived in New York City and owned Russek's, a famous Fifth Avenue department store. Due to her family's wealth, Arbus was shielded from the effects of the Great Depression while growing up in the 1930s and attended private school where she met her future husband. Diane’s father became a painter after retiring from Russek's;...

Although he is no longer with us, he left behind a legacy that will not soon be forgotten. As my stepfather, my supporter, and my friend, he showed me the value of not only a hard days’ work, but also the importance of taking time to enjoy the precious moments life has to offer. By example, he taught me to take my work seriously, but to take myself lightly. His playful spirit will forever be an integral part of my daily life, and his gentle approach to loving others will always help guide me in each of my relationships. The Chronicles of Generation X: the History, Influential Events, and My Personal Experience

...cynical, hopeless and unmotivated slacker. This subject is more realistic than those lies and titanium claws society want to put on my generation. In a class of our own, you will get a better understanding of Generation X through its history, the influential events and my personal experiences have sharpened such a diverse generation that will always stay on top. Generation X or Gen Xers consist of 50 million members born between 1965 and 1977, from the past generation of the Baby Boomers. In a time where the single most anti-child phase in American history began. In the early 1960's the birth control pill became widely available, and in 1973, abortion was legalized (Coupland 1991). These are two factors that are said to have contributed to the generation small numbers. Compared to Baby Boomer numbers at 76 million and Millennial at 80 million according to Jeff Gordinier in his book, How Generation X Got the Shaft, But Can Still Keep Everything from Sucking (Gordinier 2009). Robert Capa, a photographer for Mangum magazine, was the first person to use the phrase "Generation X". Using it to describe the people who grew up after World War II. Capa used it as the title of a photo essay published in 1953. A decade later, a writer by the name of Jane Deveson for Women Own Magazine. A magazine company established from the United Kingdom back in 1932 did a study on British teenagers that were misbehaving by sleeping around, rejecting religion and disobeying their parent. Fashion Show

...“Fashion Show” A fashion show is an event put on by a fashion designer to showcase his or her upcoming line of clothing during Fashion Week. Fashion shows debut every season, particularly the Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter seasons. This is where the latest fashion trends are made. In a typical fashion show, models walk the catwalk dressed in the clothing created by the designer. Occasionally, fashion shows take the form of installations, where the models are static, standing or sitting in a constructed environment. The order in which each model walks out wearing a specific outfit is usually planned in accordance to the statement that the designer wants to make about his or her collection. It is then up to the audience to not only try to understand what the designer is trying to say by the way the collection is being presented, but to also visually deconstruct each outfit and try to appreciate the detail and craftsmanship of every single piece. A wide range of contemporary designers tend to produce their shows as theatrical productions with elaborate sets and added elements such as live music or a variety of technological components like holograms, for example. Types of Fashion Shows 1. Ready-to-Wear Ready-to-wear shows feature more practical, down-to-earth looks that the mainstream population might want to buy. Many middle-class name brand retailers draw inspiration from the ready-to-wear looks of high-end designers, including Gucci, Prada...

Frida Kahlo: the Woman. the Artist.

...Frida Kahlo: The Woman. The Artist. Why did I choose Frida Kahlo for my research paper? I choose Ms. Kahlo because she is my favorite artist. I first learned of her in middle school and immediately fell in love with her work. It was very emotionally impacting. I have included many samples of her artwork. The things she saw and accomplished prompted the sensational works that spilled out of her brush. She had not wanted to follow in the imaginative strides of her photographic artist father and granddad. Yet, take a gander at the silver coating of the deplorability of her mischance. As opposed to turning into a specialist, she painted pictures that made individuals talk and examine. She is presently unmistakable worldwide for her one of a kind representations toward oneself. Frida Kahlo was a female Mexican painter of mixed heritage, born on July 6, 1907, who lived 47 painful years before passing away on July 13, 1954. Within her short life, Frida was slightly crippled from polio, suffered from a serious streetcar accident that left her infertile, married famous muralist Diego Rivera, divorced, remarried Rivera, became a political activist and rose to fame through her oil paintings, all before succumbing to her poor health. She was an intelligent female in a society that wanted women to be pretty, submissive wives and mothers. She struggled with cultural demands of her gender in a time when women were demanding a change in their role. All these aspects of her life, and more...

Astronomy Then and Now

...heard the saying you can’t teach an ole dog new tricks? What about the one where three old dogs teach new tricks? I’m sure you have heard that one, anyone who knows about our solar system can thank the three old dogs. Well, they’re not dogs at all, and at their time they weren’t old but in our time their long gone. Of course, I am speaking about Ptolemy, Copernicus, and Kepler. Funny thing is each one of them challenged and changed their predecessor's work, for the better of course, but we will get to that later. We have these three men to thank for a whole lot of new tricks. To name a few would be, our solar system, the way we form our maps, and we can’t forget the numerous mathematical formulas used to make ideas come to life. In this research paper, we will touch base on the lives of three great astronomers and the tricks they have taught us. We will also see how astronomers of today contribute to our everyday lives. Some say that our first astronomer was a great astronomer. Other say, “Ptolemy was the only great astronomer of Roman Alexandria.” (Brown, 2016) It’s all a matter of opinion, but what we cannot deny was Ptolemy was a great astronomer of his time and today. We do not know much about Ptolemy’s personal life. What we do know about him came from his work. He was born around 85ce in Egypt to a Greek family even though he bore a roman name. To say Ptolemy was diverse is an understatement. He was also diverse in his studies being he was a mathematician, geographer...
