...The Cleveland Browns started off on the right track as they hosted the Arizona Cardinals. With our horrid run defense, Chris Johnson was expected to produce huge numbers. On the first drive of the game, Cleveland was stopping the running back early, but they allowed some big pass plays including a 38 yarder to J.J. Nelson. Ultimately, the drive concluded with a touchdown pass to second year tight end Troy Niklas. Meanwhile, the Browns couldn’t get anything going on offense after managing just six yards before punting it away. It wasn’t until the next defensive possession did things begin to swing in Cleveland’s favor. The Browns were minimizing the effectiveness of Arizona’s backfield until they surrendered a 13 yard run to Johnson. Fortunately, Karlos Dansby knocked the ball loose and Armonty Bryant recovered the ball and ran 34 yards down the sideline to set up Cleveland at the nine yard line. The offense took advantage of the turnover with a Brian Hartline touchdown....

...Catch This! ¨Can you catch this!?¨, yelled Eddie as he drilled the ball so hard into my hands that the ball instantly bounced out as I fell to the ground. ¨HAHA!¨ Eddie yelled in victory, Eddie got so distracted he didn't see Tommy silently creep up behind him and slam the ball against him. Eddie howled like a wolf would to the moon. ¨I did it!¨ Tommy said happily, ¨Yeah ok ok, chill.¨ I said as I got up from the ground. We all looked at each other and we knew who was our target and we prepared for war. ¨FREE FOR ALL!¨ we yelled and the balls went flying everywhere. I threw my red ball so hard with all my power and it went over the fence. We stopped and sadly watched leave our site. ¨You threw it, you get it.¨ Tommy said, I quickly ran behind the fence that blocked my yard from the park....

New Labour’s doctrinal statements are analysed to establish to what extent these doctrinal positions involve a repudiation of Keynesianism. Although New Labour has explicitly renounced the ‘fine tuning’ often (somewhat problematically) associated with post-war Keynesian political economy, we argue that they have carved out policy space in which to engage in macroeconomic ‘coarse tuning’ inspired by Keynesian thinking. ... 4. If you are using an industrial mixture, attach your bread hook and gradually stir in approximately 7 1/2 cups of flour. The dough should be slightly sticky. You can add more flour later as you knead your dough. 5. Set dough aside and cover with a cloth and let it rise until it has doubled its size. If you are just making rolls then make balls roughly the size of golf balls in your hands, and put them in the oven to cook for 15-18 minutes @ 350 degress. ...sugar and 1tablespoon brown sugar. Cut off the top of 4 apples off and discard. Remove the inside of each apple with a spoon very carefully, as to not puncture the peel. Remove skin from 2 additional apples and slice very thinly. These apple pieces will give you filling needed to fill the four apples you are baking. Mix sliced apples with sugars and cinnamon in a bowl. If you prefer more or less cinnamon and sugar, make adjustments as desired. Scoop sliced apples into hollow apples. Roll out pie crust and slice into 1/4 inch strips. You can also add a strip of pastry inside the top of the apple almost like a liner to add a little more texture/sweetness to the pie. Cover the top of the apple in a lattice pattern with pie crust strips. Place apples in an 8×8 pan. Add just enough water to the cover the bottom of the pan. Cover with foil and bake for 20-25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown and sliced apples are soft. ...Today, the Sheraton Hotel hosts the Rex Ball, and the Mariott Hotel hosts the Comus Ball. Previously, the two balls were held together in the city’s Municipal Auditorium with a large curtain dividing the two balls. The large curtain would be drawn back initiating the Meeting of the Courts, making the tradition very simple and open to everyone (Hémard). Unfortunately, the Municipal Auditorium suffered severe damage from the levees breaking during Hurricane Katrina forcing the two old-line organizations to change venues to two hotels on Canal Street (Hémard). The change of venue brought about a new tradition of rolling out a red carpet on Canal Street making a pathway for Rex, his Queen, and the court to head to the Comus Ball at the Marriott...

...Recipes <3 The Best Chocolate Cake Ever 1 box devil’s food cake mix 1 small pkg Jello instant chocolate pudding mix 1 cup sour cream 1 cup vegetable oil 4 eggs, beaten 1/2 cup milk 1 tsp vanilla 2 cups mini chocolate chips Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a very large bowl, mix together everything except chocolate chips. Batter will be thick. Stir in the chocolate chips. Pour batter into cake pan of choice (I normally use two 9-inch pie pans). For cooking time, I use the cooking times on the back of the devil’s food cake box as a guide and usually add 10 mins to whatever it says. Then I do the toothpick check, and if it’s not done, I check on it every 5 mins after that. It usually takes around 45 mins for two, 9-inch pie pans. Buttercream Frosting 1 cup shortening (Crisco) 4 cups powdered sugar 1/4 tsp salt 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream In a mixing bowl, cream shortening until fluffy. ...The Cleveland Browns visit MetLife stadium to take on the New York Jets. It will be a beautiful day as the sun is shining at 70 degrees Fahrenheit with brief spurts of wind. Expect a low scoring affair with two stout defenses clashing against two unproven offenses. Don’t expect numerous big plays from Josh McCown, although he loves throwing the deep ball. The Jets host one of the best cornerback tandems in the league with Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie. Most of the Browns’ yardage will come from the across the middle or the dink and dunk stuff. Look for a slot receiver to impact the game dramatically, whether it is Andrew Hawkins or Taylor Gabriel. Heck, watch for the running back to see increased action in the pass game as well. Additionally,...

...The Fundamentals of Quarterback in the NFL By: David Cruz The Fundamentals of Quarterback in the NFL By. David Cruz Ever wondered what it take to be a star Quarterback in the national football league? For this essay, I am going to compare the differences between two quarterback, Drew Brees from the New Orleans Saints and Cam Newton from the Carolina Panthers. The reason why I chose this essay is to provide the readers with a bit more insight on how each quarterback in the national football league is different. During this essay, I will be discussing the following feats that every quarterback in the national football league should possess in order to succeed: Passing the football, athleticism displayed on the field, and the affect that home and away games affect the players performance. The Risk/Rewards of Passing the Football One of the most rewarding awards that someone can bring to a football game is completing a long pass to gain a lot of yards for their team. As a quarterback, in order to accomplish those long throws the quarterback needs accuracy and arm strength. Mackie Shilstone stated “Next to former Denver Bronco QB John Elway and the Patriots' Tom Brady, Brees throws the "comeback" as good as (with more power and accuracy) anyone I've seen in recent times - the operative word being accuracy.” What this statement implies is that Drew Brees is known for completing long passes during football games. Now Cam Newton on the other hand has been struggling with his...

...classes grew in numbers. He came to realise that he needed a certain type of competitive recreational game in order to vary his programme. Basketball, a sport that was beginning to develop, seemed to suit young people, but it was necessary to find a less violent and less intense alternative for the older members. * At that time Morgan knew of no similar game to volleyball which could guide him; he developed it from his own sports training methods and his practical experience in the YMCA gymnasium. Describing his first experiments he said, "In search of an appropriate game, tennis occurred to me, but this required rackets, balls, a net and other equipment, so it was eliminated, but the idea of a net seemed a good one. We raised it to a height of about 6 feet, 6 inches (1.98 metres) from the ground, just above the head of an average man. We needed a ball and among those we tried was a basketball bladder, but this was too light and too slow. We therefore tried the basketball itself, which was too big and too heavy."...
