...CHAPTER- I INTRODUCTION Education is the control agency in shaping the future of the individual and nation. Education is central to the knowledge based society where human being who is the creator, preserver and destroyer. Education is said to be the third eye of a person which gives insight in all affairs. It teaches to act justly and rightly. It removes the darkness, ignorance and illusion. Plants are developed with cultivation and men by education. Education nourishes like a mother, shows proper path like a father and shows destination like a teacher. Education is said to be the enlightenment of knowledge, intelligence and wisdom. Education is a process of living through a continuous reconstruction of experiences. It is the development of all those capacities in the individual which enable him to control environment and fulfill his possibilities Education in a broad sense refers to all those activities and experience that has a formative experience in the mind of the individual. Education should be a motive force due to which a man pursues knowledge relentlessly whatever may be his field and teachers are the main source of motivation. The teacher who is indeed wise does not bind you to enter the house of wisdom but rather leads you to the threshold of your mind. Teacher is the one who sheds good influence upon students, creates in them a sense of respect, love and is responsible for all round development of child. Teachers are very important in life long and dynamic process...

...The cause of ball ‘e’ firing off is from the contact force between ball ‘d’ and ball ‘e’. The magnet cannon is a 2 piece assembly with 6 different components making it. The first assembly is ball ‘a’, the magnet, ball ‘b’, ball ‘c’, and ball ‘d’, the second assembly is ball ‘e’. The way to use the magnet cannon is by rolling ball ‘a’ into the assembly with ball ‘e’ at the end once ball ‘a’ hits ball ‘e’ fires off. After ball ‘e’ fires off you can see a small recoil and the assembly slides backward. The first piece of evidence for this is the slow-mo video where we saw ball ‘d’ fire off a small amount before getting back to the assembly. In the slow-mo video we saw that when ball ‘e’ got fired off so did ball ‘d’ a small amount before returning to the assembly, then the assembly recoiled. Another piece of evidence is the human cannon experiment we did. In this we saw a chain reaction almost in a wave form, of the push going to each person in the assembly. Then we saw human ball ‘e’ get pushed forward and the rest of the human assembly get a push back. In a second video we looked at for the human cannon we saw human (ball) ‘d’ actually get pushed off the assembly like what I saw with the slow-mo video. My third piece of evidence is the four free body diagrams on page (95) in our book. On the four free body diagrams we had ball ‘e’ and ‘a’ in the first second of the cannon and then the second. In the diagrams the forces acting on ball ‘a’ in the first second is the ruler, gravity...

ABSTRACT This physic work speaks about forces and works on the tchoukball frame. It’s built around five experiments. The firsts are concentrated on a simple sandow, one of the elastic component of the frame. The nexts are on the frame itself or on the free-fall of a ball. The results come especially from the last experiment, big part of the work where, with the help of a longitudinal radar, we analyse the bounce of a ball on a horizontal laid frame. After...

Internet Competition In leveraging the available power of the internet, today’s businesses can greatly enhance their advantage over the competition, especially ‘The Best Widget, Inc.’. Of particular interest are two areas that can aid ‘The Best Widget, Inc.’ with respect to their competitive advantage. These two areas are those of competition research and advertising. Through internet research, ‘The Best Widget, Inc.’ will be able to obtain detailed information on any competitor or any other business. Such information would include, but not be limited to, information pertaining to the competitor’s product offerings, business announcements, investor sentiment, and customer feedback (Balle, n.d.). ...The Cause and Effects of Illegally Downloading Music The concept of downloading music has been around since the late 1990s, around the time when we started seeing networking sites appear on the internet. These sites allowed users to post and share music and software files with other users, usually at no cost. Most artists rely on their music careers for sole financial support. With the increase of illegal music downloading, artists lose out on income, it prevents future artists from wanting to pursue a career in the music business and in some cases cause them to miss out on contracts. Illegal music downloading also places the individual at risk for criminal charges. The amount of illegal downloading that occurs today makes it even harder for some musicians to make a living from their music. If artists are not able to make a profitable amount of money in the music industry, the number of people wanting to continue or pursue music will be greatly reduced. With online communities dedicated to sharing music, this trend does not seem as though it will end anytime soon. Once a part of these communities, individuals can and will acquire (whether by paying or for free) the music and turn around and share it with friends and family members. Illegal downloading and sharing is the reason for loss of income in the music industry. Global music piracy causes $12.5 billion of economic losses every year (RIAA - Anti Piracy, 2014). If the amount of money that goes in to the music industry...

...Case Study: Paid to Make Decisions? Tiffany Harden, Tashiba Jones, Jodi Meaux, Wendy F. Superable HCS/514 March 16, 2015 Jeani Thomas Case Study: Paid to Make Decisions? Decision-making is very important and an essential element when managing an organization. As the manager, the decision –making process can be approached in several ways. It can be done using different techniques and tools available. There are also various dilemmas that can be faced with decisions, such as uncertainty or high-risk consequences. Consideration or evaluation of all alternatives should be done due to the dilemma. Manager should make the final decision and make a test of the decision and see how the outcome will be (Balle, 2015). Weaknesses in final statement When Carrie Wilson was hired as a Nursing Manager of the Emergency Department of County Hospital, her style brought adverse reaction from almost everybody including the “good” professional nurses (Liebler, 2012, Chapter 4). The action of Carrie Wilson, as a Nurse Manager, in enforcing long ignored hospital rules has its merits yet should involve staff in the decision-making process. Staff should feel that they are involved in the process. If everyone participates in the decision-making process, there will be less resistance because after all they were the one making the decision. What has been wrong with the approach The staff worked in the emergency department at the County Hospital and they were used to the way things were run...

Organizations dedicated to the codification of rules and regulations began to form, and national and international bodies sprung up to manage domestic and international competition. ...Reading: Framing a theory of social entrepreneurship: Building on two schools of practice and thought - J. Gregory Dess and Beth Balle Anderson The paper argues that social entrepreneurship will be most effective and generate the greatest interest of academics when it combines elements of the two main existing schools of thought: the social enterprise and the social innovation school of thought. At the intersection of them, to which the authors refer to as “enterprising social innovations”, social entrepreneurship is defined as an “innovative, social and economic value creating activity” that offers the opportunity for large-scale social impact that is sustainable and not constrained by a legal form. Thus, the social sector should use the business world for inspiration and apply innovative market-oriented models to raise capital and address social issues. Such an approach would revolutionize the process of creating social value – blending social/philanthropic and economic components to shift resources into areas of higher impact for society. In my opinion, the claim that social entrepreneurship should focus on that intersection is the logical step forward in enhancing a new field of academic inquiry. Taken alone, each of the school maintains important aspects of tackling social issues: using market-oriented strategies to create social value is the best method to avoid the dependence on private donor capital which comes from the often illiquid social sector, offering the possibility...

...Career Planning & Development - Identifying Personal Goals Through Self-Assessment Tools Survey of Human Resource Management Unit 5 IP5 LaRaysha Mobley AIU Online Professor K. State and federal laws prohibit employers to discriminate against any job applicant on the basis of age, disability, national origin, pregnancy, race, religion, sex or gender, and sexual harassment (EEOC.gov).
