Balthasar Hubmaier was considered one of the best trained theologians and most prolific writers of the Radical Reformers of the sixteenth century Protestant Reformation. In terms of education, He was the only figure of his generation with university credential, and the only one with extensive public activity before joining the Reformation. This research will observe his Theological thoughts on the Centrality of Faith, Free Will, and the impact on past and present Christian history.

Balthasar Hubmaier (ca. 1480 – 1528), was born in Freiburg Germany. Mabry, 1994) p. 1 Doctor Balthasar was recognized by his peers and many scholars thereafter as one of the most prolific writers and the most important leader of the early sixteenth-century Anabaptist Reformation. Hubmaier studied theology at the University of Freiburg and was a favorite student of Johannes Eck, who became influential in the development of Hubmaier’s theology. Ordained as a priest in 1510, Later followed his teacher John Eck to the University of Ingolstadt. Eck influenced Hubmaier away from the study of medicine and later Hubmaier received a doctorate in theology.…show more content… Before completing the year as prorector he became a pastor of the cathedral in Regensburg.
