I.General Pleasure Reading

Because now a days many people generally have some sort of device that lets them to connect to the internet. With this ease of access to the internet many people can read digital copies of books and not have to actually carry around the physical copy. They can even have multiple books on a single device since text files do not take up that much space.

B.Form factor: Chose the form factor that will make it successful

Because so many people have different devices. I use a cellular device that had Google Play, while the rest of my family uses the Iphone app store. By making the e-reader an application this will allow it to be used on almost any device that can support the software.

C.Feature: Select the feature(s) that will help make it successful

VI.Other feature (Ease of UI, and Built in Bookstore)

If I had the opportunity to create an e-reader app I would make sure that the UI would be so user friendly my grandparents would know how to operate it. A UI that actually shows a picture of the front on the book you want to read would be ideal. Also, having a bookstore directly linked with the e-reader would make buying books simple and easy.

D.Digital Rights Management: What DRM capabilities

I.No DRM

Because if someone were to purchase a book from the app bookstore it should be theirs and they should have the ability to access their purchased content whenever they wish. Having a DRM on a e-book app would honestly lead to noone downloading it in the firstplace.
E.Pricing model:

III.Retailer pricing

Because retail pricing just makes sense for the whole idea of an e-book application you can use to purchase e-books and then read them. Having a retail price point, hopefully getting close to Amazons, would lure people to downloading the app and hopefully purchasing from your appstore.

Because we want as many people as possible to download this e-reader application and use it as their primary e-reading source. The app could be downloaded from app stores such as Google Play, and the Iphone store to gather a bigger marketing possibility.

Allowing customers to wirelessly download books from the bookstore would be a no brainer, and allowing the app on multiple devices is a given for any kind of application. However, the main feature would be to open certain word documents that you wouldnt be able to buy in the store. Having to download an app just to read a PDF file would be a hassle, so why not just include it in this one.

2.Identify the market, market leader or product technology that this successful e-book will disrupt.

Since this is an application many people will be downloading it on their phones, tablets, or computers. However, products specific to e-reading, like older kindles, will be affected due to the conveniece of being able to use an e-reader on another, probably heavier used, device. Physical stores and e-book stores will also be affected due to being able to purchase e-books directly from the app to use immediatly.
