Flying uncontrollably through space and being thrust into a new country doesn't happen everyday. Ernesto and the Apollo 13 crew went through these hardships to accomplish their goals. No one knows what drives people to undertake a mission, but people have done dangerous and brave things in the process of accomplishing their goals and dreams. In Barrio Boy Ernesto is moving from Mexico to America and is intimidated by the massive size of his school. His school was three stories high and was yellow with a shingled roof. When he entered the school he tried to decide if Miss Hopley was a friend or foe, but when she stood up he decided that, “she was a match for giants”.
