Behavioral Paper # 3
Observation I began going to the gym because I wanted to lose weight. Little did I know what was to be expected at the end. That day i got home and I felt so drained my head felt pressured something I never felt before. I thought maybe I'm just so drained from going to the gym and work. So I decided to take a nap, when I woke up I still felt the same it was a horrible feeling but I tried to forget about it. The next day I felt the same way my back began to hurt and everything I would do bend down or put my head down my head would pound so much that I was able to hear the pounding in my head. It was so bad that when I walked my back would hurt and the headaches were terrible. One night I was sleeping and all of a sudden around 4am I suddenly woke up with a terrible pounding headache. And for some reason the first thing I did was place my hand on my heart and my heart was pounding and racing super fast I was freaking out I didn’t know what was going on. Then I could not breathe I felt like I could not inhale enough air for my lungs I began to sweat and freaked out I went to the living room and woke up my parents. I told my sister to call 911and she did in about 10 minutes the paramedics came in by that time I had calm down a bit. They checked my pressure and everything and they said everything was good. I was like then what was that that I just got and they said you just got an anxiety attack. I never thought in a million years I would be a victim of that. Since that day I was not able to sleep at night. I began to sleep with my mom because I had a fear of sleeping alone because I thought I was going to die and never wake up. For the next 2 weeks I would get anxiety attacks at least

twice a day and I would have to get up, open the door and sit on the stairs and get air to breathe from

Childhood violence is what UNICEF calls “one of the most damaging unaddressed human rights violations in the world today,” and has the potential to leave lasting negative consequences that can last well into adulthood (What is the impact of CDV, n.d.). In addition to childhood domestic violence, CBITS has been used with students who have witnessed or experienced traumatic life events such as community and school violence, accidents and injuries, physical abuse, and natural and man-made disaster (CBITS at a glance, n.d.). Animal Boredom

...It was the crinkling sound again; this time the squirrel was much closer to the peanut bag lying next to my window. I tried shooing it away, but it wasn’t scared anymore. I opened the window and the window’s creaking sound scared the squirrel away. Although it looked totally scared, it was still roaming around the window as if it were bored to tears. Seeing this, a stroke of happiness rushed through my face and I knew I had found what I was looking for: boredom in animals, the topic that this paper focuses on. The study of animal boredom has now become a wide area of scientific research. Until recently, the dominant belief was that the study of boredom could not be attached to any natural sciences since animal boredom could not be experimentally...

Keller Organizational Behavioral Paper

...Life Styles Inventory: Self-Description Antionette Harris Diva0310@comcast.net 1710 Robin Walk Unit. C Hoffman Estates, IL. 60169 GM591: Organizational Behavior 11-7-11 When I first completed the Life Styles Inventory and browsed the results, I felt that my results for the behaviors were accurate but when I reviewed them again to complete my assignment, I felt that only half of the results were accurate. I had to go back to the Life Style Inventory website to see the exact definitions of each category in order for me to fully understand why I was placed in the given categories. I was then able to understand my results. My personal Life Styles Inventory concluded that my primary thinking style and back-up thinking style was Constructive (2 o’clock position) and Passive/Defensive (6 o’clock position). I was able to see how both the Constructive thinking style and Passive/Defensive thinking style can relate to my day to day life but as far as work, I felt the results were less than accurate. According to the Life Styles Inventory, my primary thinking style, Constructive Style, reflect self-enhancing thinking and behavior that contribute to one’s level of satisfaction, ability to develop healthy relationships and work effectively with people, and proficiency at accomplishing tasks. I see myself as constructive simply because I tend to think a lot which leads to me overthinking things at times but the outcome is always good due to me being able to be capable at...

Comprehensive Grammar Answer Form

...writing. In fact, the three universities that I have attended in the past have all required me to use the APA style of writing. As I recall my high school years, the APA style of writing also seemed to be a favorite amongst my high school teachers. They all required that term papers be written in APA style as well. This type of writing actually does not differ much from the ones included in the text reading. The text mentioned the APA style of writing several times. In my opinion, it appears to be the most popular style of writing, especially amongst college students. Based on the results of the quizzes, my grammar skills were actually a little better than average. I actually had expected to do better, but I guess my grammar skills are not as good as I thought they were. In any event I feel very confident when it comes to spelling, as I have always been a great speller. Even in grade school, I was a good speller. I learned at a very young age to challenge myself when it comes to spelling. Challenging my-self in that area really paid off as I became older, as I’ve never had a problem with spelling. However, I feel that I need more help with run on sentences and with thought patterns. Though I proof read my paper several times, it’s hard for me to see that I have several run on sentences until after I get my grade back. In general, I feel that my writing is just mediocre. However, I also believe that when it comes to writing, I am my own worst critic. Reason being, I am never...

...Terrica Thomas Mr. David Makhanlall Eng 090 12-11-11 My journey as a writer is when I do my papers I have to make sure that I have the correct grammar and no misspelled words. Because when write you want to make sure that your papers flows and that you stay on topic. Because you as a writer wants the people to understand what they are reading. Because your paper have to have so meaning to it and it have to have some clarity to. When I revise my papers it make me look at the things I done wrong. Like when I have misspelled words I can correct them and when I have sentences that don’t make sense and I take the out. When I write I make the mistake of writing a lot of write on sentences. I have to make sure that I don’t do that anymore. I have to make sure that I don’t forget the punctuations because I have the habit of not putting them where they belong and stuff. When I was writing my paper on my mother I think that I did a good job but I think that I could have writing about her goals in life. What she has done with her life right now and what she wants to do right now. I could have talk a little more about what she has done for me when I was growing up. What she had to do to raise three girls on her own. The pattern of errors that I need to work on is run on sentences. Because when I write I can write a sentence that can go on and on forever without a period. A sentence fragment when I write I tend to write a sentence that don’t make any sense...
