The bella città of Savannah, is the first city of the south and Georgia’s, and the oldest city in the United States. It was founded in 1733 by James Oglethorpe, who arrived to the States from England with one hundred and fourteen settlers and constitute it the first British colonial capital of the province of Georgia and later the first state capital of Georgia. Savannah is not only the oldest and one of the most historic cities of Georgia, but it is “the location of one of the largest National Historic Landmark districts in the country. This eccentric Southern city beguiles with Old World glamour and romance, culture, [architecture] and entertainment.
