LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network. LinkedIn can connect you to trusted contacts and help you exchange information with a broader network of professionals. After researching LinkedIn I found that it gives you the keys to controlling your online Identity. Tools like Answers and Groups let you locate and interact with experts through trusted introductions.
LinkedIn Search lets you explore the broader network by name, title, company, location, and other keywords that will help you find the knowledge you’re looking for. As stated on the LinkedIn website today’s professional world, people change jobs and locations constantly. By connecting on LinkedIn, your address book is always up to date. A you and your contacts update your profiles it will keep you current with the latest jobs, projects and contact information. You’ll stay in closer contact with great tools to communicate and collaborate. (LinkedIn)
The three professional business groups that I chose that would be within my chosen field are located within the company I work for. One is called Ohio Infant Mortality Reduction Initiative (OIMRI) another is called Mammogram Connection, and the last one is called Moms First. Each of these groups are part of The Northeast Ohio Neighborhood Health Services (NEON) through grant programs but they are entities within themselves, like the Women Infant and Children (WIC) program they are just housed in our company.
The OIMRI Group concentrates on women in a targeted area of Cleveland Ohio. Of the six sites of NEON they are located in three of them on Hough Avenue, our Southeast Health Center and the East Cleveland Center. The mammogram connection is housed in the Hough center and Moms
