Big brother isn’t watching you

The persons who join these riots are often people who the society forgot or gave up on; people who need to get a kick in their lives. In fact they need to face the consequences of their actions and their destructive behavior. The English writer, Russell Brand explains the rioter’s motive for the 2011 UK riots.
Russell Brand lived in the London before he moved to Los Angeles. In fact he explains the riots as if he has been a part of the happening among these people. Through the text Russell Brand describes how he felt and how he was affected by these people and their destructions. In his article on the Guardian website, he’s attitude is very sarcastic to underline his dissatisfaction to the UK government. In fact his text has an overload of sarcasm and irony to describe his position on the riots. His approach to the 2011 UK riots is the fact that it has been a common problem, which must be solved together. Russell Brand is very astonished by the fact that the rioters are being describes as “mindless”, unacceptable”, “unjustifiable” and disconnected from the cities they live in. This indicate that it is very strong words which is used against these riots, they are placed outside the community. Russell Brand agrees on the fact that it is unacceptable the things that these riots have done. But his opinion is not to focus on all the unacceptable things that these riots have done, instead the government should but in their interests why these people are doing as they do.
Russell Brands type of sending his message and showing his opinion is harsh and very-nonsense. He makes no secret of his attitude on the 2011 UK riots. Russell Brand expresses his opinion with no kind of holding back in his attitude and anger. In fact it could be taking in as if he was a person of violence himself. Some of his sarcasm is show with him using the fact that these problems are taking a lot of our oxygen resources, which is a life necessary source for us to keep us alive. Even though he might sound quit ironic, you have no doubt, that he very serious about this view on these riots. But He shows sympathy with the rioters. Russell Brand has earlier in his life felt same kind of void, but he was privileged. He had good parents who shown him the love he needed. In fact the government could be put as these riots parents. Russell Brand comment on the way the handle these riots. It is not by showing compassion or finding a leisured way to maintain order to these people. They are not as privileged as Russell Brand was, therefore they handle the situations different and it might also be the wrong way, therefore they are split out from the community. No matter what they do, they don’t feel any signs of improvement in the future. Therefore to get these improvements the society has to find and make changes as a favor to the youngsters on the margins of society.
Russell Brand is very realistic in his opinion and ways to handle these problems. He sees the country from the modern perspective and is aware of the situation of today. A contrast to the government is shown. In fact it is clear that we are witnesses to a boundary line in society positions, between the governments and roisters. Instead of facing the fact that these problems may be because of dissatisfaction among these to different types of people, Russell Brand shown his dissatisfaction to the government as well, with the fact that in his opinion the government way to handle these riots are wrong. Instead of building stacks of allegation of violence, they should start considering about the fact that these rioters, who lives in the lower society, has a message in their actions and not just pure brutality. They found a way through the brutality to be heard and seen by the government, they did not act as privileged as Russell Brand. The solution to this problem lays not in the hands of the government, but in all the hands of the Englishmen, Russell Brand means that the problem has been more spiritual then political, therefore the Englishmen has to stick together if they want to get any closer to a solution on these roisters.
