I was walking my dog Riley around the neighborhood on a cold day. My dog was sniffing some leafs and all of sudden he started to dig. And pulled it out and I saw that my dog pulled out a trash bag. I checked inside and all I saw were bones that looked like a humans. I called the police as soon as I could and tried to figure it who this guy was after I brought my dog in the house.
I thought of calling Billy bass but I should first figure out how old the bones are. I remembered what we read in class one time, it was called “Identifying the victim” you can look at the amount of teeth and that will help with age and the joints are smoother and break down as they get older. So I thought the person was around the 50-60 age mark. The police came and examenid the bones and asked me what should they do. I said first we should examine the bones a bit more and see if its a boy or a girl so we can narrow down our search. We decided to look at the pelvis because that’s how you can tell if it’s a male or a female. The pelvis seemed to be narrow and deep so that’s how we knew it was a male.
