Blame Canada!!! Air Canada was a more likeable job than Russell Toyota because it was a nicer place to work. Air Canada was a white collar job. Air Canada was climate controlled. The type of work done at Air Canada was easy, not time consuming, or that physical. Most of the work consisted of standing behind the counter checking in passengers. There were many breaks between the planes departure, which meant a lot of down time. There was very little heavy lifting, at most was a few pounds. This job was mostly walking to and from the gates. Co-workers and passengers were always smiling. The pay at Air Canada was more than at Russell Toyota. Air Canada paid per hour. Show up and get paid. Air Canada was my favorite job so far. Being that the airport is only three miles from home, the commute was much shorter and calmer than that of Russell Toyota. Russell Toyota was my least favorite job. Russell Toyota was a blue collar job. The Russell Toyota body shop was not climate controlled. The body shop was dusty and dirty. Blazing hot in summer, freezing cold in winter. In contrast the work at Russell Toyota was hard, meticulous, physically challenging. Unlike that of the airport which was not. Fixing cars after a collision is time consuming and physically demanding work. Russell Toyota was twenty two mile away from home. This made commuting a total pain in the neck. Having to fight traffic every day, an hour both ways was a big hassle. The customers and co-workers at Russell Toyota never smiled. At Russell Toyota the pay was less than Air Canada. Air Canada paid by the hour whereas Russell Toyota you were paid by the job. This is called flat rate. Show up and if there was no work, there was no pay. In conclusion Air Canada was a more likeable job than Russell Toyota because the work environment, the pay, and the commute was nicer.

He begs his sister not to allow the doctor to amputate the hand but inwardly realizes that he has already lost too much blood to survive. The boy dies while under anesthesia, and everyone goes back to work. Analysis Frost uses the method of personification to great effect in this poem. The buzz saw, though technically an inanimate object, is described as a cognizant being, aggressively snarling and rattling as it does its work. When the sister makes the dinner announcement, the saw demonstrates that it has a mind of its own by “leaping” out of the boy’s hand in its excitement. Frost refuses to lay blame for the injury on the boy, who is still a “child at heart.” In addition to blaming the saw, Frost blames the adults at the scene for not intervening and telling the boy to “call it a day” before the accident occurred. Had the boy received an early excuse from the workday, he would have avoided cutting off his hand and would have been saved from death.
