It was tenebrous and cold, the girl ran as expeditious as she could. She heard footsteps behind her and taunting voices saying that they’re coming for her. Trying to find a way to the safe house on the other end of the maze, she comes to a stop looking at a wall with the words dead-end written in blood she turned around and ran the other way. Noticing a gleam of light, she knew it could be was her safe house; trying to run faster, the footsteps seemed closer and closer to her. Looking back to see if they were near her, not paying attention she ran into a strong body, feeling hazy from the force of her running.
