Bone Thugs N Harmony
The band I picked to research about is Bone Thugs N Harmony. I picked them because they happen to be my favorite rappers In my opinion they have the best voices and lyrics with the best flow which there best known for. The grouped formed in 1992 Cleveland Ohio. The members consist of Krayzie Bone, Wish Bone, Flesh N Bone, Layzie Bone, and Bizzy Bone. The group mainly plays rap, hip hop, and gansta rap. In 1993 Bone Thugs auditioned for famous rapper Easy E. Eazy E is part of the gansta rap group N.W.A. After the second audition Eazy E signed them to Ruthless Records then Bone Thugs N Harmonys career began.
When the group first started there group it was originally called Band Aid Boyz. That name was later changed to Bone Thugs N Harmony after Layzie Bones brother Flesh N Bone joined the group. Their first album was called Creepin on ah Come up which was released in June 1994. Two of their hits from their album made it to Billboard top 100. The song Thuggish Ruggish Bone climbed up all the way to number 22, and the song For tha love of the money made it to number 41.
The most popular and their second album is called E.1999 Enternal. The album include hit like First of Tha Month and their most popular song Tha Crossroads. First of tha month made it to number 14 on the charts. Tha Crossroads made to number 1 on the charts and Bone Thugs N Harmony won a grammy for the song. Tha Crossroads was dedicated to their dead and famous friend Eazy E. Eazy E died of aids from being sexually active starting at the age 12 , and had seven kids with six different wifes.
Other Bone Thugs N Harmony albums include The Art of War, BTNH Ressurection, The World order, Thug Stories, Strength and Loyalty, and their last album T.H.U.G.S. Some other popular songs include Thug Luv which is feautred with Tupac Shakur. Bone Thugs N Harmony also recorded a song with Biggie Smalls called Lets Ride. All though this was the time with the whole East Coast VS. West coast wars were going on Bone Thugs N Harmony still worked with both the most popular rappers in the world and still til this day. Bone Thugs N Harnony were popular all around the world.
Bone Thugs and Harmony are still together and still peforming today. My favorite member of the band is Bizzy Bone. I like him the best because he has the best at his rapid fire style of singing. A interesting story about Bizzy is when he was only 5 him and his two sister were abducted by their step father. Their Step Father told them that their mother died which was false. His father dumped him off at a Reservation at Okalahoma. The police found him and was returned back to his family. In his childhood is father was abusive to him and his whole family. In 1989 Bizzy Bone Moved with his Sister in Clevand Ohio. When he was only thirteen he resorted to selling drugs to help hm and his sisters live. Selling drugs is how he also met his fellow members Krazyie, Layzie, Wish. And Flesh N Bone. In 2002 Bizzy appeared on Americas Most Wanted where he revealed his abusive childhood and his molestation. He even wrote a song called to A.M.W. to thank them. Bizzy also has a solo career which he is very successful at also. Til this day Bone Thugs N Harmony continue to be one the best rap groups ever.

Perfect Song

...Crossroads by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. This is honestly one of my favorite songs of all time. All of the elements of the song just seem to flow together and seem right for each other. The song's beat is a slow and deep beat. It gives you the feeling of floating away. It plays in with the lyrics and delivery of the message perfectly. I would say this song really is “music to my ears”. The lyrics of this song are hands down the best I have heard in any Rap, Hip-Hop or R&B ever; not to mention how meaningful they are. They don't necessarily tell a specific story of any kind, but rather the struggles that everyone seems to endure when they are faced with dilemmas. Some of the dilemmas discussed are life, death, money, and just the everyday grind associated with being an underprivileged person trying to make a living. The lyrics bring to your attention that everyone has their own judgment day, how you react to it is on you. You just have to have faith in the Lord and expect that he has the best planned for you and your afterlife, no matter what some of the unethical things you did on earth may be. The song explains the good things about dying, and the bad. Bone Thugs made the comment in the lyrics that when they die, they want to be buried next to loved ones and can't wait to see them in heaven. In retrospect, they sing about praying everyday to the lord, still he takes them away, but deep down they know it's for a reason. Aside from the lyrics themselves, the way Bone Thugs delivered the...

Hip Hop Group N. W. A

...and so was Eazy-E. Dre left Ruthless Records to go to Death Row Records with Suge Knight. Dr. Dre said “He(Heller) played the divide and conquer game. Instead of taking care of everybody, he picked one to take care of and that was Easy.” By 1992 N.W.A. was over, all the member had started their own careers, and were doing very well with songs on the top of charts. Eazy E had claimed a lawsuit saying that Knight had negotiated Dr. Dre’s exit and was very upset about that. Eazy wanted to retaliate by killing Suge he decided he wanted to do things his way. This started a lawsuit against Dr. Dre, Suge Knight, and Sony with an out of court settlement. After everyone had gone their own way Easy also had a lot of success with the trio Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Two years later Eazy left his manager Jerry Heller, and because of this the communication with the member of N.W.A improved a lot more. A little after this Ice Cube, Eazy E, Dr. Dre and others were talking about a N.W.A reunion project. Cube was the first to leave, but had regret that they never made the chance to build on the potential they had. The feud that they had with each other was over, but then Eazy was hospitalized. Dre and Cube visited him the the hospital shortly before he had died, but Eazy didn’t know because he was not conscious. Then in 1955 Eazy E had died from complications from his AIDS. Two day before his death he got married to Tomica who was pregnant and already had a kid with him, and they were saying Eazy...

N. W. A: The Role Of Violence In Hip Hop

...project. Even though he was the first to leave Niggaz With Attitude, Ice Cube later conveyed regret that their group never built upon its early potential. Unfortunately, all this talk was a pipe dream, for in 1995, Eazy-E died from complications of AIDS. Before his death, both Dre and Cube had visited him in the hospital shortly before he passed. His finances were sought after by many heirs (which included nine children by seven different women). Even being beyond the grave, Eazy released a final solo album in 1996, Str8 Off tha Streetz of Muthaphukkin Compton ( Serpick, and Simon & Schuster). Although former members of N.W.A forged their own successful careers, they also inspired others to join the rap industry: Tupac Shakur, Eminem, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and even Snoop Dogg, and all of them accredit their initial success to N.W.A (Serpick, and Simon & Schuster). These artists may not have been possible without N.W.A’s obscene, in-your-face, charisma. This sort of charisma would not have been even remotely possible if the Niggaz With Attitude hadn’t grown up on the mean streets of Compton. Without Compton, these individuals may never have come together to be one of the most well-known rap groups in the rap industry. Sure, NWA could’ve been less profane and explicit, but then they wouldn’t have been true to themselves and set the foundation for rap to be used as a way of expressing oneself, by any means necessary, whether that be by dropping one “f-bomb” or as many as can fit in a...

Fall of Asclepius

...Fall of Asclepius By Harm 1 and Icrick Prologue Where should I begin? The apocalypse happened so fast. In less than a month, monsters infested every part of this world. People panicked, people died. They clawed at each other just to get out of all the infested areas around the world. There was problem about fleeing from infested areas. Everywhere was infested. There was no where anyone could go without encountering the walking plague. You know that phrase "War is Hell"? Well... it's dead wrong. War at least has some organization to it. What was faced in the last days... by last days I mean the last days of civilization not life; itself. What was faced was hell. Everyone went ape shit insane. Everyone was killing and raping each other into oblivion, because we were under attack by creatures that was so beyond our understanding! Geez, there were many names given to these undead. Some called them demons, others called them lost souls. With all these names, I found only one that was truly worthy; Zombies. It was a simple word. At the same time it was the most complicated word to enter any human language. I mean just think about it... You say that word to anyone before the outbreak and what would they think of? They would, think of those horror movies or comic books where, for no reason what so ever, zombies appear all around the globe in an instance. That's not how it happened for us. There were signs for over two months. It's just that no one took the time to put the...

Short Stories

...Bienvenido Santos: The Day The Dancers Came AS soon as Fil woke up, he noticed a whiteness outside, quite unusual for the November mornings they had been having. That fall, Chicago was sandman's town, sleepy valley, drowsy gray, slumberous mistiness from sunup till noon when the clouds drifted away in cauliflower clusters and suddenly it was evening. The lights shone on the avenues like soiled lamps centuries old and the skyscrapers became monsters with a thousand sore eyes. Now there was a brightness in the air land Fil knew what it was and he shouted, "Snow! It's snowing!" Tony, who slept in the adjoining room, was awakened. "What's that?" he asked. "It's snowing," Fil said, smiling to himself as if he had ordered this and was satisfied with the prompt delivery. "Oh, they'll love this, they'll love this." "Who'll love that?" Tony asked, his voice raised in annoyance. "The dancers, of course," Fil answered. "They're arriving today. Maybe they've already arrived. They'll walk in the snow and love it. Their first snow, I'm sure." "How do you know it wasn't snowing in New York while they were there?" Tony asked. "Snow in New York in early November?" Fil said. "Are you crazy?" "Who's crazy?" Tony replied. "Ever since you heard of those dancers from the Philippines, you've been acting nuts. Loco. As if they're coming here just for you. Tony chuckled. Hearing him, Fil blushed, realizing that he had, indeed, been acting too eager, but Tony had said it. It felt that way--as...

Idioms and Expression

...Idioms and Expressions by David Holmes A method for learning and remembering idioms and expressions I wrote this model as a teaching device during the time I was working in Bangkok, Thailand, as a legal editor and language consultant, with one of the Big Four Legal and Tax companies, KPMG (during my afternoon job) after teaching at the university. When I had no legal documents to edit and no individual advising to do (which was quite frequently) I would sit at my desk, (like some old character out of a Charles Dickens’ novel) and prepare language materials to be used for helping professionals who had learned English as a second language—for even up to fifteen years in school—but who were still unable to follow a movie in English, understand the World News on TV, or converse in a colloquial style, because they’d never had a chance to hear and learn common, everyday expressions such as, “It’s a done deal!” or “Drop whatever you’re doing.” Because misunderstandings of such idioms and expressions frequently caused miscommunication between our management teams and foreign clients, I was asked to try to assist. I am happy to be able to share the materials that follow, such as they are, in the hope that they may be of some use and benefit to others. The simple teaching device I used was three-fold: 1. Make a note of an idiom/expression 2. Define and explain it in understandable words (including synonyms.) 3. Give at least three sample sentences to illustrate how the expression is used...

Bloodlines of the Illuminati

...Bloodlines of Illuminati by: Fritz Springmeier, 1995 Introduction: I am pleased & honored to present this book to those in the world who love the truth. This is a book for lovers of the Truth. This is a book for those who are already familiar with my past writings. An Illuminati Grand Master once said that the world is a stage and we are all actors. Of course this was not an original thought, but it certainly is a way of describing the Illuminati view of how the world works. The people of the world are an audience to which the Illuminati entertain with propaganda. Just one of the thousands of recent examples of this type of acting done for the public was President Bill Clinton’s 1995 State of the Union address. The speech was designed to push all of the warm fuzzy buttons of his listening audience that he could. All the green lights for acceptance were systematically pushed by the President’s speech with the help of a controlled congressional audience. The truth on the other hand doesn’t always tickle the ear and warm the ego of its listeners. The light of truth in this book will be too bright for some people who will want to return to the safe comfort of their darkness. I am not a conspiracy theorist. I deal with real facts, not theory. Some of the people I write about, I have met. Some of the people I expose are alive and very dangerous. The darkness has never liked the light. Yet, many of the secrets of the Illuminati are locked up tightly simply because secrecy is a way...
