HRD4303: Leadership and Management Development

Purpose

The assignment provides each team with the opportunity to research a specific contemporary issue that is being explored by academics and shaping the practice and study of the leadership and management development field today. It also provides each team with the opportunity to refine its academic research skills.

Instructions

Prepare an annotated bibliography on the topic your team has agreed on and submitted to me. A guide to preparing an annotated bibliography is on the Main Page of the course's Jenzabar site.

Submission Date

The final draft of the bibliography is to be submitted by one member of your team with the other members copied. The final draft is due by email to j.heffner@aui.ma no later than Thursday, April 7th by 23:00. Please do not submit the assignment late as it will not be graded.

Evaluation Criteria

This assignment is worth 20 points. It will be graded based on the following criteria: (a) the clarity and quality of the writing, (b) the relationship of the articles to the topic, and (c) the proper use of APA formatting guidelines.

Formal Requirements

Students are expected to follow APA style guidelines, use 12 point Times New Roman font, standard margins, page numbers in the bottom right corner, 1.5 line spacing, and have a cover page. (See instructions and the online APA guidelines resource in the course syllabus.) I also expect students to use the Spell Check function on Microsoft Word before submitting the paper to eliminate minor but annoying grammatical, spacing, and, of course, spelling errors. The file should be named as follows: HRD4303S16-[the last name of the person submitting the assignment]-Annotated Bibliography.
