Bran Nue Dae is a coming of age film that follows the story of Willie – an Indigenous Australian living in 1969 Broome. Directed by Rachel Perkins, this Australian film describes Willie’s adventure through the outback on his way back to Broome after running away from a Catholic mission in Perth.
