In “Revisiting Attitudes,” by Brock Dethier it describes how to become a better writer through editing. In this quote, “Before you start hating your paper, turn it in, send if off, file it.” With this quote the writer is able to express the feeling of most of the people that have to edit papers for work or school. When writing people are so obsessed with having the perfect paper that they so frustrated that they begin to hate their paper, thus it better to not try and over-write to be perfect. With the writer’s suggestion we can realize that no paper cannot be perfect, thus before you start hating the paper turn it in get in out of your mind.
