Bryson Talking To People Who Hike Rhetorical Analysis

In the first several paragraphs Bryson is only talking to people who hike instead of everyone who is reading the story. This generates the story was not very interesting to the people who do not hike. He also talks about how when you are walking in the woods, it can be very boring. And feel relating that you are going nowhere but you are as a matter of fact traveling very far. Then after the first several paragraphs Bryson then starts to tell a story and is talking to everyone reading the story. This then generates the story interesting for everyone, not just hikers. Bryson uses humor throughout the selection to generate the story interesting. He talks about how the map is useless and how he paid eleven dollars for it. Then in the middle
