My fist chosen company is Tesco’s which was founded in 1919 by Jack Cohen as a group of market stalls. (Information from Wikipedia)

a) Tesco is a global store with over 1800 stores worldwide.
b) Tesco’s is part of the private sector, which means it is part of the national economy that is not under direct state control.
c) It is Tertiary as it doesn't make the products it sells it just provides a service, it buys products in from the primary and secondary sectors.
d) The purpose of Tesco’s is to create value for customers to earn their loyalty so they continue to make repeat purchases.
e) Tesco’s is owned by thousands of people this therefor makes it a public limited company as shareholders who own small parts of the company.

For my second chosen company, I have chosen Chepstow leisure centre.

a) Chepstow leisure centre is a small local business.
b) Chepstow leisure centre is part of the public sector this is due to the fact it is part government run and part run by them meaning that the government has some control over the business.
c) Chepstow leisure is a tertiary business as it provides services for its customers for example the swimming pool and gym.
d) The purpose of this small business is to provide local customers with a great service it is not just run for profitable reasons.
e) This business is part of the private sector as it’s is owned partly by the government meaning it main purpose is not making a
