I thought that the copper test was reliable. This was because it allowed me to compare my score against the national average. It also gave an accurate prediction of my fitness levels. This enabled me to see and identify improvements that I needed to make to my fitness in order to improve it.
When doing the test, I had to record my heart rate before and after the test. This was so it allowed me to see how hard I worked when doing the test and how my fitness level was. One problem when recording my results was that I couldn’t record my heart rate when doing the test. This was …show more content…
This allows me to see how strong I am, therefore letting me know what I need to do to make myself stronger. This test is also a quick way to determine the strength of the person.
Before doing the test, I recorded my heart rate. This would be my resting heart rate. I then measured my heart rate after to see the effect of the test. I couldn’t measure my heart rate when doing the test. This is because I needed to use both hands to lift the weight up.
An example of an athlete that would do this test is a weight lifter. This is because it is specific to their sport. They will be good at this as their muscle fibres will be able to carry the weights. This is because their muscle fibres have developed through training. They also have the technique to lift it up. They will be less likely to be fatigued as their body has a higher lactate threshold which has developed through training.
Advantages
One of the advantages of this test is that it is quick for the athlete to do. This is because it only requires one repetition, and it means that they will be able to get the results quickly. This is time efficient and gives them a lot of time to think about what they need to
