Real Estate Consulting Group, a consulting firm specializing in strategic quantitative analysis when a company is making strategic consideration of sites for real estate rental. W2G has engaged our firm to conduct a brief yet fully-substantiated recommendation to lease an existing 2000 square foot heated and cooled warehouse building for one year in various locations throughout the United States. In conducting this analysis and price/cost comparison, we will take into account the electrical costs for the area, estimated for one year, plus any additional costs identified in any advertisement (e.g., other utilities, parking, etc...) for the alternative sites identified. Taxes will be considered and will be set at rate of 7% per annum for comparison purposes. The formula for achieving the pricing and subsequent recommendation of the sites selected for evaluation, as well as an explanation for the variables within the formula will also be clearly identified for W2G to review. Types Of Group Discussions Normal GD: A group of 10-12 candidates are given a topic to discuss. They are seated in circular or semi-circular fashion. They are given 2-3 minutes to prepare and then asked to speak on the subject. The topics are general and open-ended. Controversial GD: The purpose of this kind of GD is to encourage debate so that the participants are forced to take a stance for or against the topic. Capacity Planning

...Capacity Planning: A Tactical Decision with Strategic Impact   The business environment has never been more challenging than it is right now. The speed of change in the marketplace is creating a stress on corporations to respond quickly and effectively. The foundation that is required to react to dynamic changes in supply and demand is based on understanding your supply chain’s capacities. Understanding and then building the infrastructure that provides the needed flexibility and speed requires an in-depth understanding of how capacity impacts your business.   The impact of capacity management is felt throughout the organization, within every element of the supply chain. Supplier capacity can bring production to a standstill. Production capacity is equally important; if the capacity is not great enough to meet peak demand periods and inventory building is not properly planned, customer demand will go unfilled. Distribution capacity, both storage and throughput, ensures delivery of the right product at the right time. Transportation connects all elements of the supply chain; as such, its capacity issues are key, influencing service levels and on-time delivery performance.   Change has become the rule, not the exception. The need for capacity management is measured not in years or quarters but rather in weeks and months. Changes can be brutally fast and without warning. Industry over the past two years has been hit hard with a steep slowdown of their business. Some...

Broadcasting of Am & Fm at Air

...transistorized transmitter. Homebuilt AM Back in the vacuum tube days many of us built our own transmitters and AM modulators. My first AM transmitter was a Heathkit DX-20. That was a 50 watt, CW, kit-built, vacuum tube transmitter to which I added a homebuilt AM modulator. Unlike SSB, AM could be added onto an existing CW transmitter. Rather than generate a low power AM signal and then amplify it with a linear amplifier, in the old days the usual method was to AM-modulate the final amplifier of the CW transmitter. On an oscilloscope, the hallmark of AM is that, when you are not speaking, the RF carrier wave runs continuously at an average power. That is, in AM the highest peak power and zero power only occur at the very highest voice peaks. Although I could see these transient peaks 2. Chapter 16, Harris on the scope, when I tried to catch one with a storage scope, they are statistically rare and I couldn't catch a zero power level. The waveform below was typical of what I saw. In contrast to AM, the RF output amplitude in SSB is always zero whenever you aren't talking. Notice in the SSB oscilloscope picture below that each RF blip representing the audio starts from zero. It doesn't start from a halfway, continuous...

...was not believed. When someone is not trusted, it can really lower their self-esteem because they are missing part of a relationship. However, I have also experienced the other side of a lie: the part in which a person is actually lying or exposing someone’s secrets. Once, I lied to a friend about the night before and why I wasn’t home. He didn’t believe me, breaking his trust in me. From this, I know that lying does not get you anywhere. Even when I tell the truth, my friend only occasionally believes what I say because he expects me to lie. I treasure honesty because it is important to be trusted and respected by your peers. In my life, I have seen people, including my parents, lie to me, and I know it is hard to cope with since they were not being honest.
