The memoir focuses on my experience of relentlessly getting bullied as a ten-year-old, at a school called CIS. This happening had subjected me to feeling abused and rejected, thus instigated desolation and hopelessness. However, one day, I was fortunate enough to realize that words do not have any power on us, that it is actually within our control how much value we give them, and how we choose to react. This occurrence significantly impacted my perspective and attitude towards bullying, and had made me a stronger person. The intention behind sharing this story is to convey that the power of words is only dependent on our self-control.
