They have overpopulated the area, are wiping out other species, and have caused hunters to start killing them. First and foremost, the Burmese have overpopulated the area. This is supported in the blog Burmese Python The Ecosystem Challenge by EcoEchoes. It is evident in paragraph 1, the passage states,”...alarming growth of Burmese pythons in the Everglades is a big problem” It is logical to conclude that these python are crowding the Everglades, giving the area a way different look to it before any python were released to the wild. As I would perceive this, the multiplying of these animals have caused many different complications in the once very rarely problematic community. Furthermore, have wiped out diverse species. This is evident in the Florida’s Python Hunt article in paragraph 1, it states,”With no natural predators, these eating machines appear to be wiping out huge numbers of opossums, raccoons, and bobcats, as well as many bird species.” It...

This exotic species was transported to be used as a tamed animal but only led to their invasion. Currently, they are multiplying in the Everglades with their own kind while reducing the others. With the new, dangerous group of Burmese pythons, the fragile Everglades will be altered forever. Burmese pythons are indestructible creatures. They start from a small size of one foot and rapidly increase until they are 20 feet or longer. In paragraph 16, “Last month, University of Florida researchers landed an 18-foot, 3-inch female python.” These non-native snakes can kill predators that are as mighty as the alligator. Burmese pythons have bad eyesight, so their heat sensors help them find their prey which lets them hunt in the dark. They first grab an animal, then constrict it until the creature is no longer warm. Then, they swallow the animal whole, having a jaw that can widen five times the original amount. Their huge appetite and quick breeding combined is lowering the animal population in the Everglades....
