They figured out if the employees are saticified with there jobs that they do there best for the company. Happier the employees the better the work qulity which makes a happier company. (SAS)(AS)(SP)
If I were to evaluate SAS as a potential employer I would first look over the whole company to make sure they have what I am looking for and to see if I would fit in. I like that they set the bar high for their employees. They give them the tools to have creativity and promote intimations. SAS is making a difference everywhere. SAS has created global work environment that inspirers. Employees create life altering software solutions that have a big global impact. SAS motivates employees to be more creative to think outside the box. SAS helps to eliminate unnecessary stress. This helps keep employees happy and healthy which helps the company. They have a great training program and consulting. SAS takes commitment when it comes to employees. Employee health, well-being and work-life balance is important. SAS turnover rate is very low. (SAS)(AS)(SP) Some practices that stand out at SAS that influence work attitudes are the encouragement that is given to their employees to think outside the box. They also as mentioned above they have many divers’ people which also open the doors. SAS low stress environment keeps employees happy and health which leads to a better work environment. ...Currently, I approach weekly course reading material in a fairly unconventional way. My weekdays are usually incredibly hectic between my job of working with my clients and my day to day personal life with my children, so finding any quality reading time is hard during the day time hours. I generally have all reading material downloaded to my laptop in advance as we all should so I can get in a bit of reading time during my break time and my clients nap time. The problem with this is, even though it is quiet and my break time, there is still quite a bit of activity going on around me having to deal with small odds and ends, breaking any concentration I have and understanding of the text. I do get a small amount of time in peace when I get home and right before the kids get home after school in which I use to get in some reading and study time. This time is definitely quality time as my concentration is at its greatest and I can get something done. The night hours, usually after dinner, is where things have been really difficult as this is the time where the bulk of my study and reading time is. Thankfully my fiancée has begun to rectify this problem for me (when he is home from work himself) by keeping the kids busy with various things and away from me during this time so I can actually get quite a bit done in peace and...

Elders Should Receive Free Bus Rides

...There are different types of transportation all over the world. Including a bus, and trains that will take people to family gatherings or doctors offices, but families and working people ride a train to work. We use transportation for the less time it takes us to travel places, especially to bigger cities as a result of being faster than driving to their job, doctor, and picking up food. Transportation has grown through the years, and hopefully, it will grow bigger in the near future. Elders should receive free bus rides because they are not as stable as younger drivers. Many are also retired and do not intake enough money. All elders should take retirement. In the first place, they work very hard, and when they do, they do not earn as much money as working adults. They retire as a result of their hard work for at least sixty six years. Every elder deserves to retire. Also, they do not acquire enough money to pay all their bills. Some elderly barely obtain enough money to make a living, because the prices are...

Marketing Project

...In order to develop a product for young people and considering we know what it is to be young, we decided we had to develop a product that included most of youth likes and interests such as: music, dancing, social interaction, going partying, etc, Then “Club Ride” appeared as a great opportunity: a bus that gives an idea of pre-party, providing certain feeling of a small space of about thirty people where they can drink, laugh, dance, and make new friends. What we offer is therefore not only a transport service but an entire experience of fun and music. Why? Simple! Inside the bus they would not only benefit from listening to great music and enjoying complete modern design (including sofas, poles, neon lights, etc.) but they will have the opportunity to drink for free as well. They will only have to pay the bus ticket which actually includes a free pass to the discotheques included in the tour and the drinks they have inside. However this project is not able to satisfy every young man or woman in Madrid specially because we have to consider that there are at least 371.226 young people from 20 to 24 years old (not even taking into account the 102.532 immigrants that arrived this last year to Madrid). With this great amount of potential customers, it is impossible to take into account the whole market, it is necessary to direct all the attention to those man/ woman who would actually need this product. In order to obtain enough information about the costumer’s behaviour,...

Operation Management

...organised.  Essential to their operation is the repeatability of the tasks their employees are doing as well as the systemisation of the work, where standards and procedures drive the way in which each part of the job is carried out. This combination provides a low cost base. In contrast a local café has a much lower  volume of output, less labour, less systemisation, and each staff member completes a wider variety of tasks which results in higher unit costs. 3. The Variety Dimension A common example used to describe the variety dimension is the contrast between a taxi and a bus service.  Both offer hired transportation services but a taxi service has a much higher variety dimension as they will basically pick you up and drop you off wherever it is you need to go.  A bus offers a defined route and schedule.  Whilst they offer a similar service, variety and flexibility is high for the taxi company and low for the bus company. It is worth noting here that the a low cost model is more easily achieved with less variety.  4. The Variation Dimension Consider two home building companies.  One offers prefabricated homes that you choose from a catalogue or online.  It is transferred to site and erected over the course of a few days.  The second building company offers customised homes they have display homes they have built...

...Exercises on Prepositions Prepositions are short words (on, in, to) that usually stand in front of nouns (sometimes also in front of gerund verbs). Even advanced learners of English find prepositions difficult, as a 1:1 translation is usually not possible. One preposition in your native language might have several translations depending on the situation. There are hardly any rules as to when to use which preposition. The only way to learn prepositions is looking them up in a dictionary, reading a lot in English (literature) and learning useful phrases off by heart (study tips). The following table contains rules for some of the most frequently used prepositions in English: Prepositions - Time English Usage Example on days of the week on Monday in months / seasons time of day year after a certain period of time (when?) in August / in winter in the morning in 2006 in an hour at for night for weekend a certain point of time (when?) at night at the weekend at half past nine since from a certain point of time (past till now) since 1980 for over a certain period of time (past till now) for 2 years ago a certain time in the past 2 years ago before earlier than a certain point of time before 2004 to telling the time ten to six (5:50) past telling the time ten past six (6:10) to / till / until marking the beginning and end of a period of time from Monday to/till Friday till / until in the sense of how long...
