One of the most critical factors that assist in the make-up of a successful company is the human resource department. Not only is it the driving force of the company it is also one of the most critical factors of the company’s structure. A successful corporation must employ the right individuals who are suitable for their position. Every profession and job comes with an expectation of appropriate compensation which is commonly based on industry standards and competitors set rates. As the company within this paper is faced with problems of inflated expenditures, defects in the product WooWoo which resulted in delivery delays. Although negative these glitches are common and a successful company needs to be prepared to execute a plan of action to address and correct problems when they arise. Executives are required to ensure that the problems do not trickle down to the workforce, which can drop the motivation level and reduce team work between the employees as is the case in this study.
The following measures represent actions that can be taken in order to design an effective motivational plan for the organization. Starting with investing in compensation packages. Given that the company currently only employs 50 employees, and considering that the sales of its widget are high, a slight investment in the compensation packages of all employees should be considered in order to increase motivation, job satisfaction and high productivity. Refining the compensation package allows the employee as well as the entire team to be incentivized to increase production and improve product quality.
