The overall concern of religion conviction in the United States of America possesses equally; advantages and disadvantages in the public domain; assemblies and federations of multicultural dogmas and viewpoint in which these religious theories exhibit within the community. Understandably, in regards to religion the First Amendment protects the right to freedom of religion and freedom of expression. Really, on average Americans results in a minimum of two free will self-determination’s; the privilege to be free from a forced government faith and the permission to exercise any religion of choice.Loyalty, responsibility, and faith are just a few of the dutiful religious standards, these holy parties hold as sacred acceptance today while living in society.
At that time, many of the pious truths and principals’ in America were originated to create justice, peace, impartiality and legitimacy to all. Religion in the work place is said to be no different; several spiritual groups maintain that Religion in the workplace creates a strong consciousness within the organization culture, a purposed appreciation which can be an extraordinary valuable commodity within the community (Sire, 1990). The Equal Employment Opportunity Act, EEOC, of 1964 affirms that religion in the work room must serve both God and society. As Thomas Jefferson says it best “a wall of division concerning the church and government". In addition many Christian maintain that religion from their perspective overflows into all of their social attachments; a solid faith envelopment which should also, embrace their place of employment (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission 2010.)
The main goal religion in America aspires to do is to offer a wholesome atmosphere of development, growth, education and discipline within and outside of their organization. Collectively, in the sanctuary as well the workshop, many divine groups desperately seek to bring about healthy social managerial development, culture growth, and shared environmental aspirations within the community; along with proving the population with a sense of conscientious religious values (Cafferky, 2011). Truthfully, if a Puritan saintly group were to suddenly appear at a recent work camp. I would remind them that I am not there to be judgmental of their religious preference. Informing the hired hand that under the Title VII Civil Rights Act which prohibits employers from discriminating against individuals because of their religion; in hiring, firing and certain other terms and conditions of employment. I would add that arguably, arguments fly from both directions, as each person share in their own personally faith, some wish not to discuss religious belief on the job; adding that work is not a place to talk about religion, it is unethical, immoral and uncomfortable (Dylan, 2006).Others feel more freely to discuss their religions and their endeavors with faith. And, take into account that under no circumstance lose focus while working; make conscious effort to be friendly with each co-worker during the conversation regarding religion.
Face to face I would add that, while others agree that religion is an important part of history in America, providing commonly held shared values that typically connect people and should be discussed on the job (The Equal Employment Opportunity Act, EEOA, 1964). Others, strongly disagree, ultimately, many people understand that everyone has the right to select their own creed and participant in their own traditions and customs, as with respect. However, with a great deal of understanding and mutual cooperation; I would remind the employee that partaking in a religion preference would expectantly bring about whole change, and with anticipation would not affect dependable work performance.
As an up-and-coming entrepreneur starting my own business, having plenty ready money, I would purposely include religion into the companies work values. Straightforwardly, in the beginning, the conversation would begin out by expressing how important religion is to me as well as my establishment. I would add that I consider religion to play a major role in to the positive fundamentals that goes into achieving victory on the job. Too, I would remind them of the passage in Proverbs 13:4, ( King James Version,1982) the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied, and Ecclesiastes 5:12,(King James Version, 1982) The sleep of laborer is sweet for sure motivational; fundamental motivation for on the job accomplishment.
Conclusively, as a new entrepreneur each morning would begin with a brief bible passage and prayer, there would be no work on the Sabbath, and the company would encourage others on the job to pray for one another. As an innovative business owner I would mentioned that life in itself is a gift; we are blessed to be able to simply open our eyes upon sunrise each day, as well along with having the mental and physical capacity to work daily. As a plus point, as a recent fresh owner I believe we have a responsibility to toil; to finish tasks not only for ourselves, and our families, but primarily to God.
On a scale of 1-10, I would give this religious association a six, regarding its organizational skills. Unknowingly, in the past I was hired to work for a diverse religious organization. A company that instilled a dress code policy; under no circumstance are female employees allowed to wear long pants. I think that this kind of religious diversity at work could perhaps scare workers away; especially the people that may want to learn more about religion coupled with work. In my opinion, this dress code work place protocols should be well-thought out; considerably and taken into consideration thoroughly; to certainly not burden or insist that employees act in response or join in on such a partial-compelling religious notion (Harvey, 2012 p.226).
Many of the donations and support that Operation Blessing International Relief and Development Corporations (OBI), comes from committed saints. The extensive organization is a distinguished non-profit compassionate charitable institute with developments in at least one hundred and five countries nation-wide, plus transnational; delivering and providing clean water, clothes, disaster relief, education, food, medical equipment, shelter, as well as sharing the gospel to many children and their families that desperately suffer from life’s basic provisions. Currently, more than three point one billion dollars’ worth of charitable contributions each year is received from devoted religious groups, this service is merely one of their sacred ways Operation Blessing continues to demonstrates their love of God (Operation Blessing International, Relief and Development Corporations, 2012).
On the contrary; adversely, religion diversity has caused some disapprovingly and harmful feedback. Everyone is not open and willing to receiving faith; some of the challenges the intercontinental establishments face religious diversity, to some stirs up confusion, misunderstanding, chaos and many times embarrassment in the community, an awkward feeling that can leave the culture in a variety of religious turmoil.
