The term ethical behavior refers to how an organization ensures that all its decisions, actions and stakeholders interactions are in line with the organizational moral and professional standards or principles. A behavior is considered unethical if it does not conform to these standards.
The first unethical example I ever witnessed was when my former boss habitually transferred equipments meant for the office or hospital to his private practice to be used in managing his own patients for personal gains. At one point, the ultrasound machine could not be found; searches through the entire floor could not find it. To the surprise of all, we learnt that he had taking the machine to his private office for use.

Another example of unethical behavior involved the program director of my former hospital. She often feigned illness in order to make time for his private patient at a different office. While this was taking place, she was being paid his full salary. These types of behaviors leads to loss of profit to the organization and should not be supported.
An example of an ethical behavior is seen when a leader is transparent, fair, and discloses all problems with all his subordinates to find appropriate solution. The current manager of my office fits well into this picture. She acts consistently with espoused values, thus wants all employees to report to work on time believes in honesty and she is always ready to help in any department that needs her.
At one time, one of my senior colleagues did surgical procedure on a patient for which complication arose. The senior surgeon did not want to discuss this complication with the patient and family because of medico-legal reasons. I went to him and was successful in persuading him to do the right thing, thus to explain in detail what exactly happened to the patient. He finally obliged, met with the patient and family to
