OUR VENTURE
India is a developing country, which promotes innovations and experiments are welcome. In this developing country, we are faced with a lot of problems every day. With initiatives trying to fight the prevailing poverty and unemployment, there are also problems on increasing health issues in the country. We aim at reducing the increasing health issues in the society by providing completely healthy and pure Ice-creams. The ice-creams will be completely sugar free and natural. Health care is the foremost thing…show more content… Hence we are targeting everyone from a child to an elderly person. Since we have tied up with Goli vada pav, we wish to target all the customers who consume vada pav through this brand.
Company’s policies (tie-up guidelines)
We have decided to tie up with two of Goli Vada Pav outlets, both of which are in Pune. Our basic tie up policies include that for the usage of the Goli vada pav outlets, we would be giving 10% of our profits to Goli vada pav.
COMPETITOR ANALYSIS
It is easy to wrap up whatever is happening inside the company, after all there are a lot of things to juggle with, like profit, margins, products, employees, tax etc. So we have to look after our competitor‟s activities also to make our product and company sustainable.
In our case there are basically three competitors who are giving competition to us on the basis of their product‟s quality and services. There companies can be listed as Quality walls,
Naturals and Amul. These three are providing natural ice-cream of our level. Going thoroughly through their products we have come to conclusion that we are providing the same quality of ice cream but on a marginal price. As we are a small startup we don‟t want…show more content… Our aim is to make the customer have an impulsive purchase. There should be no hindrances between the customer and the product.
As it is our own start-up with our own little investment, there is no external liability that we have towards anyone. So the survival of Farmer‟s Ice-cream is more viable and reasonable.
Weakness:
The biggest weakness of our product is that we do not have our own factory outlet. We are depending upon a third party for the sale of our products so any fallout from their end can turn out to be very heavy on our sales. Another big weakness that can come our way is the lack of funds and a small scale production process. The limitation of finances can fall back heavily on us because if the demand has a sudden spurt, we will not have enough resources to satisfy it. As mentioned earlier, our sales are largely dependent on the tie-up partner, so we are actually at their disposal for returns on sales.
Opportunity
With an economy growing at a very fast pace, and along side the increasing fallouts on the health related products, there is a dire need for something healthy and reasonably priced at the same time to sustain the market pressure and still perform well.
