It wasn’t until two brother-in-laws William Procter, a candle maker and James Gamble; a soap maker became business partners on October 31, 1837. The partners had a strong desirous mission to change the way American cleaned their laundry. Their mission was to create a washing detergent that will clean heavily soiled clothes.
