Business communications is very important. It’s about relying information in ways where your coworkers, business partners and clients are able to understand successfully. With good business communication you are able to build good, strong relationships which will create business enterprise. When you communicate within your workplace there are several different types of ways to relay information to your coworkers or business partners. These ways can be verbal and nonverbal. On a day to day basis business communication plays a huge role within my workplace. We not only communicate verbally face to face, we have phone conversations, emails, reports, formal meetings as well as text messages. Working in telecommunications, we make contact with a lot of customers where we use business communication in means to converse with our customers. Business communications helps me manage my day to day activities by simply allowing me to be able to keep constant communication with my coworkers as well as my customers. With the ability to use email and text messaging as means of communication within the workplace ensures instant delivery of the information you are trying to relay to your team. I honestly think if technology had never advances allowing us alternatives as far as means to communicate, then communication would not be as effective as it is now. Since I have been old enough to actually work I have held jobs at four different businesses. Means of communications was different at each workplace. At my first two job forms of communication was very similar. When communication was used it was nonverbal, no verbal communication was used. The business would send out memos when they needed to inform us of any information. My other job we had weekly

...Business Communication Trends Megan Arguello XCOM/285 July 7th, 2013 Ms. Laurenzi Business Communication Trends Business communication is important in my day-to-day work activities. I use communication every day by helping customers find the products they need as well as interesting them in new products. Communication trends have changed since I first started working but they continue to improve the workplace. At my job I am required to help customers not only find what they need, but also to suggest products that they might be interested in. I communicate with them by speaking and showing them how the products work. Sometimes this requires a lot of demonstration while other times it just requires explaining the product. Flyers and posters are another way I communicate with customers. My job would not be manageable if I was not able to communicate with my customers. Currently we do not offer products online because we are a small business that relies on people coming into the store to purchase our products. However, we are in the process of creating a Facebook page that would allow customers to see what the discounts are at the store and what time the store opens and closes. This will allow customers to see what products we have as well as send messages about what they would like us to start carrying. The business will be able to show customers what is available in the store and why they should come in. This trend will allow the business to expand its merchandise and offer customers...

Business Communication Trends

...XCOM/285 Business Communication Trends Michael Miller June 4, 2013 David Premo It has been said that effective communication is the success to having long lasting relationships. I truly believe the same applies to sustaining a healthy business as well. We communicate in every area of our life; whether it’s through text messaging, email, phone call or even Skype. Communication plays a major role in my day to day activities for work. I have to stay in constant communication with the customer, testing team, the packagers, and even the vendor. I’m a Systems Engineer by title but I’m responsible for different entities getting their software in order to successfully do their mission. It’s constant coordination with all parties to make sure that we exceed the customer’s expectations. Sometimes emails can only go so far, it may require some actual face time. It’s good to do that because you give the customer a sense that you do care about what it is that they want and you also build trust with them. You have to find a healthy balance between the different entities that you have in order to stay on top of everything. Not all entities are the same so you have to be constantly engaged as to what is going on with each particular entity. If a specific deliverable is giving one entity issues you have to be aware of this because in the future another entity may be requesting that same deliverable and you will already be aware as to what you can do to mitigate the risk. The trends that...

Two articles that pinpoint a couple different trends are “Nifty gadgets taking special events to a new level” and “ The article “Nifty gadgets taking special events to a new level” is a great example of trends within the planning and convention industries. In the years 2001-2004 these industries saw a huge decline in business. The reason for this was the failing economy. Future Trends

...Future Trends Charmaine Saint Surin OI/466 June 6, 2016 Fred Greifenstein Future Trends According to Webster.com dictionary, a trend is usually known as something undergoing change or is developing into something or going into a general or specific direction. Innovation is about timing, but there is not a theory behind it. It includes processes and new ideas and then they are converted into new useful products. It creates value for customers who pay for it. Disruptive Innovation is an all-out risk taker, creating new markets with more practical approaches towards buyer's purchasing power. What we know is that innovation does not have an end, it's the fact that what we want and what we need continues to change. Innovation is not the goal but everything we do to get to that point. I think collaboration within innovation is an revolving trend. This is the concept of an open source. With the internet age, there are so many people connected worldwide, so there is the fact of collaboration. It creates alternatives for companies who which are smaller to have the ability to remain small and agile. If that is the choice, it also allows those less ended businesses to be a part of the larger agenda in innovation. Innovation is a connected function of communities. It seems like we are all trying to come up with new solutions that capture the technologies we encompass and maybe even working with alternatives reworking those technologies. An example of this is universities...

...unusual since you won’t normally open a restaurant unless you see it as a business opportunity right? The ramen restaurants have been opening one after another due to its popularity and success which entrepreneurs saw as an opportunity to open other famous ramen restaurants as it has become a trend. In SM Megamall as I walk inside the new Mega Fashion Hall crowded with people in the late night, I take the elevator to go up on the 3rd floor of the building where the well-known recently opened ramen restaurant called Ippudo Ramen is. The first sight that will appear before your eyes after the elevator doors open will be a crowd of people lining up for Ippudo. The wait is definitely worth it as the food there is extravagant and definitely food that you will come back with. In an interview from Shigemi Kawahara, he said that the reason people line up in Ipuddo might be “Because it’s delicious. We train our staff that every single bowl of ramen has to have a smile and maybe our customers can feel that. It’s very easy to serve a good bowl of ramen. Delicious ramen is everywhere, but what’s important to us is the quality, the service and the cleanliness” (Japan’s World-Famous Ramen House Opens in Manila). I have eaten their food and I would like to say that the food is divine with rich flavors that Filipinos will love and so far has been the best ramen restaurant in the Philippines in my opinion.
