However, after reading through the article, it became apparent to me that Amazon’s deal with the CIA was still a business transaction, albeit with the Federal Government. My thoughts began to race as I pondered how this would be different from any other business decision reached by such an enormous company like Amazon. After all, they are a multi-billion-dollar company, who are in business to make money. In an article published by CRN, a very reliable technology news organization, unconfirmed reports state that Amazon has reached a 10-year, $600 million cloud computing deal with Amazon. Amazon, if confirmed, and already a major player in the building of Cloud Infrastructure, will have scored a very large victory in the tech world. With such a sizeable deal in the works, one could speculate about some of what went on behind closed doors.
