Cabeza survived many different ways like learning different languages and performing surgeries.Cabeza de Vaca was born 1490. He was treasurer to the Spanish expedition under Pánfilo de Narváez that reached what is now Tampa Bay, Florida, in 1528.

Cabeza is a healer because he saved a man's life. Saving someone's life makes you an important person. People now look up to Cabeza as their healer and leader. Cabeza also nose how to perform surgery which is very helpful especially if one of your men gets hurt.
