Comic sans! Even though everyone hates it I'm using it. So since I've arrived on Cairnholm, strange things have been happening. For starters there's a cairn that serves as a portal to a time loop that takes place in 9/3/1940, it houses a race of what people today from pop-culture would call super humans but back then were referred to as peculiars. Basically people with special and unique abilities like creating fire in the palm of the maker's hand like The Human Torch or causing greenery to grow under the person's hand like The Swamp Thing (I think, never read those comics). They live in a children's home lead by an old lady with one leg that's slightly smaller than the other, slightly similar to Calendar Man, one of Batman's enemies from the "The Longest Halloween" story but with the ability to turn into a bird, a peregrine falcon as her name is Miss. …show more content…
There are these anti-peculiars called Hollowgast who after consuming enough souls of peculiars become pupil-less beings called "whites". The Hollowgast on the other hand, who only I can see, are skinny to the bone monsters with long arms with no visible muscle under the skin, eyes as black as night, and long legs that are EXACTLY like the arms but backwards and with feet. They eat anything that has meat on it's bones, squirrels, sheep, you name it. They have tentacles that come from their mouths that can intimidate a kraken. I managed to kill one and when it died it melted into black goo quicker than an ice cube in the desert. There's a war brewing, and if I'm not at school in the next few months, assumably three, it means we're all doomed. They are trying to make a time loop that covers the world and according to Horace, one of the peculiars whose ability is to see visions of the future, had what some would call a deadly premonition.
