Career day presentation

Kris Gourlay was one of the guests in the presentation. He was a management in KNG Group Company. This company operated as refuse system and it located in Hawaii, Kapolei. The slogan for this company is “‘We love your skinkin’ Business”. The job for this company is to pick up trash everyday from 3 a.m. to 10 p.m. They would send the trash to waste recycling system or even shipping the trash to other state. Kris Gourlay was born in Singapore, South Eastern Asia. He told us that he love lived in Singapore; it has about 4 million populations, and many people living in high rise building. Also it’s a multicultural country, just like Hawaii. In Singapore kids rode bikes and take bus to go to school. He joined the military service after high school up to 2 and half years, 1980-1982, because it was required to join the military. After the service he come to Hawaii and get in UH to study marine science and agricultural. Also after college he went to Australia and back to Hawaii to start KNG Group. He taught us to work with at a team and other people. A 70 years old man inspired him to start this company. The secrets of his success was he believed work hard can make you thrive in business. I have learned time is very important, once gone then will never return. So from now on I need to study hard and to plan my future with careful decision. I will use this presentation to remind me to work hard and to understand; what is no paid no gain!
