Now at days employers look for employees well prepare in order to fulfill their positions. Employers look for personal that has knowledge about the field they are applying for. Companies utilize different surveys to compile the information require prior hiring a new employee. A person looking for work has to be prepared to answer any questions regarding the opening in the company. Knowing your competencies will give the employer or the person looking for a job the assurance when interview but not only when applying for work, but when already hire, a person that knows his abilities would be a person or employee that can think and give a good advice. Critical thinking might be a difficult task to achieve when someone has no knowledge about the topic, or if working in a field that he or she has no experience. In order to make good and intelligent decisions under critical thinking training and experience is require in order of being able to solve any issue under this situation.
All employees must know their competencies to be competitive at their workplace, when managers give their opinions to the employees; they must know how that will work to benefit the company. The tactics apply in the work environment might be dispute by coworkers, managers must be able to discuss them; management department must come up with valid arguments and credible statistics that the strategy apply will work and it will better the company, and that will benefit the entire work

After completing this necessary step in my continuing education, I took the tests with great hope and interest as to what results it would come up with for me. To state that I was disappointed is an understatement. As you, the reader of this paper, do not know me personally, you do not know my life experiences, what I have been taught or what I have learned from my teachers, mentors, coaches, and most importantly my father. Neither does the Career Plan test. Therefore, the results should be based on my answers, which would be derived from my own personal learning and experiences. Based on this, I would have thought that the Career Plan would have made choices based on my 51 years of life. It did not. I have always enjoyed working with my hands. My father was an electrician.
