Abstract
The C. F. Martin & Company was found in 1833, until now it is one of the oldest surviving guitars company in the world. It is also one of the biggest producers of acoustic guitars in the US. Under the leader of Chris Martin in 1986 the company has experienced different extraordinary sales and the growth of production. The company maintained itself in the markets for decades and it became famous afterward. To continue to prove itself in the markets the company decided to expand the factory and also tried to introduce many other technologies too. Since the expansion of the factory, about $15 million were given out to the employees in profiting and sharing.

1.There are couples of Fayol’s principles showed as the evident of the C.F Martin case.
- Division of work: Martin hired a man from Bethlehem Steele to formalize the quality assurance program. After the training sessions the employees began to focus on what they were supposed to do instead of roaming around in various departments.
- Authority: There are no teamwork and trust between the workers at all. Martin was authorized by the boss to give orders to the employees. He discussed the issues with the employees and told them what needed to be done. The employees tried their best to complete the work then go home.
- Discipline: Martin gathered all the employees together and gave them some formal training about teamwork and the involvement of each member, the employees began to work better as a unit. Therefore, they produce better quality work. In response to the improved teamwork, Martin rewarded the employees with profit sharing.
- Unity of Direction: After a couples formal training, all the employees began to work well as a team to make the company stronger and better.
- Subordination of Individual Interests to the General Interest:
