What should Sony do to maximize the value of the PS3 to meet the consumer’s satisfaction?

Technology:
In the history of Sony, they tend to have many failures in creating a technology or gadgets. They fail to make the consumers accept the thought of their gadget. One example is the Betamax. But on the other hand Sony continuously innovate their products and they also in tend to create new ones. Sony is also the one of most successful company in producing radios. And also, Sony has a great innovation in terms of making the video game player, such as the Playstation 3.
Social:
The company has caught the attention of the consumers about their technology, special the release of play station and the company’s radios. In the case of the Play station 3, the company failed to keep the interest of the consumers because of their limitations, like the games. And because of their limitations, retailers tend to cancel orders due to lack of demand.
Economic:
The company experience a higher rate of return because the company did not achieve the demand of the consumers. The release of the Play Station 3 was not maintained interesting because of the lack of games. The company also had a limited target market and an over pricing gadget that will not pass the demand of the consumers.
Political and Legal:
The company has this reluctant license because the company was very protective to their intellectual property. And as a result, Sony products often lost their market share to inferior technologies offered by competitors. ii. Industry A. Rivalry
