DALLAS (Jan. 2, 2017) – After 20 years of service to Dallas County residents, DCHHS Director Zachary Thompson announced his decision to retire. With Director Thompson’s departure, Dallas County administration has named Ganesh Shivaramaiyer as Interim Director.

“Mr. Thompson, throughout his tenure with Dallas County, has provided remarkable leadership to the staff and stakeholders of Dallas County Health and Human Services alike,” said Ganesh Shivaramaiyer, interim director. “His vision and foresight has guided the department through myriad challenges and enabled several achievements.
