The Cause and Effect of 9/11
By Cody Cross

On September 11, 2001 One Of the Worst Attacks In United States History Happened. It was a Day nobody around or even born at that time will ever forget. I Was Six Years Old at The Time and Still remember where I was and when it happened. I remember everything that happened on that day to the tea. Where I walked and where I went to school. Even Though that was Fifteen Years Ago I will always remember the Day Of 9/11 and how it changed my Life.

The Day of September 11, 2001 was a terrible Day for people in New York City. On this Day Nobody Would see Three Jets Crashing into some of the most famous buildings in the world at the time. Nor would anybody see a targeted fourth jet heading for the pentagon and another that was said to be heading towards the White House. 8:46 AM would be the change of a new United States and the Security of Our Country since Pearl Harbor in 1941. At 8:46 Am Flight 11 jetliner Crashed into the 1st Trade Center (North Tower). That Created a Hole From the 92nd Floor All the way …show more content…
The Destruction Of both Buildings was so bad that from the outside you could see tons of smoke coming from both buildings. After the 2nd hit into the World Trade Center everybody Knew that the United States Was Under attack. At 9:16 AM the Pentagon was hit thought to be hit by Flight 77 of American Airlines. On the west side of The Pentagon.

At 9:59 Am the South Tower Began to Collapse with the southeast portion tilting. Within Seconds the top was completely swallowed by a huge dust Cloud. Which to some people or conspiracy theorist looked like a controlled demolition. At 10:28 AM the North Tower began to collapse there was no sign of flames or anything that made people think that the North Tower was going to Collapse. Within two Seconds dust swallowed the North Towers

...TOPIC: Does Using Colored Paper Improve Learning or Academic Performance? RELATED STUDIES/LITERATURES: In the study entitled “A Study of the Effect of Paper Color on Test Performance in Business Communication” (2009) by Janet K. Winter and Esther J. Winter of University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg stated that, Color has been shown to affect mood and productivity in a variety of different situations. This study evaluated the performance of students in readiness-assessment quizzes in business communication classes, comparing the grades of students whose test papers were white with grades of students who received pastel-colored test papers. The results revealed that there was no significant difference between the two groups. Other research suggests that color may, however, have an effect in other situations [1]. Mehta and Zhu (2009) have published studies that they claim clarify how red and blue differently affect performance on detail-oriented versus creative tasks with strong implications for test preparation and testing formats [2]. According to Sinclair (1998), students taking exams on blue and red paper performed more effectively on blue, especially for complex questions [3]. Whitfield and Wiltshire, in their critical review of the field, discounted the work done before 1950 because it didn’t consider even the three basic components of color (hue, value, and chrome). They also identified flaws in most subsequent research: inconsistencies in the terminology used by...

Until our teacher was explaining it to us and she pulled up a video and showed us. I felt sad and horrified for all the people who were losing their lies. I had never heard of terrorists before so I was also really nervous. I was terrified at the thought that there were people out there who despised our country so much that they wanted to kill us. So in my paper I will be talking about the short term and the long term effects that it had on us. Topic I: Short Term Effects A. Military Operations (Iraq War) B. Domestic Response: Hate Crimes against Muslims C. American Reactions (created groups to help those injured) Topic II: Long Term Effects A. Economy Decline (Stocks and unemployment rate ) B. Health Effects (toxins spread to residential areas in NYC) C. Government Policies (More security, airport security, anti-terrorism acts) I. Short Term Effect A. Minimizing the number of defects is important to any company since it influence their outputs and profits. The aim of this paper is to study the implementation of industrial engineering tools in a manufacturing recycle paper box company. This study starts with reading the standard operation procedures and analyzing the process flow to get the whole idea on how to manufacture paper box. At the same time, observations at the production line were made to identify problem occurs in the production line. By using check sheet, the defect data from each station were collected and have been analyzed using Pareto Chart. From the chart, it is found that glue workstation shows the highest number of defects. Based on observation at the glue workstation, the existing method used to glue the box was inappropriate because the operator used a lot of glue. Then, by using cause...

The Effect of Technology

...Technology’s effect on education Justin W. Campbell University of Maryland University College The effects of technology are evident in just about every area of our lives. Technology impacts the way we do our finances and how we receive our entertainment; however, one of the most impacted areas is that of education. Within education the effects of technology are seen in both positive and negative ways. On the positive side, technology has provided new and innovative tools that enhance the learning experience. On the negative side, technology has added a level of distraction and has opened up a new horizon in the realm of academic dishonesty. The impact of technology on education is a double edged sword that can benefit academia while also hurting academia in the same swing. Before the influx of technological advances, a student’s access to empirical research was limited to brick and mortar repositories of information, the library. When faced with a research project students needed to appropriately allocate their time resources in order to physically visit a traditional library, scour catalogues of reference data, transcribe their notes (in handwriting) and then return home to write their paper; all the while, hoping that they have all the information needed. Additionally students were at the mercy of their local library to have the timeliest resources available as many smaller libraries would be horribly outdated (McCoy, 2014). Now in the age of technology, students...
