Jackie Robinson’s autobiography has a cause and effect text structure. A cause and effect text structure has an event that was created by a certain cause. To begin with, Jackie Robinson was the first African American major league baseball player. My first example is located in Paragraph 1, “I had become the first black player in the major leagues.” As a result, the 1947 world series was a history making day.
