1. List of "I can't" behaviors:
A.) I can't admit that I am wrong with my friends. There has been many times where I never want to swallow my pride and admit that I am in the wrong. I have the hardest time accepting that I am not right. Even if I can't justify my side of the story I never want to be the first to make peace because I am so stuck on my own perspective.
B.) I can't stop starting arguments with my girlfriend. I am very narrow minded that I have difficulties understanding the other person. I am always the one to jump into conclusions even when it is irrelevant to the topic. It does not have to be anything big for me to find a way to argue about anything because I always end up finding a way to have something to say about.
C.) I can't accept feedbacks from my mother without getting into an argument. Because my mother is not fluent in English and I don't speak Hindi (Indian) to my mother, there is a language barrier between us. It is very difficult for my mother and I to communicate because she does not understand a lot of the things I need to tell her or vice versa. More than half of the time we spend arguing than talking to one another.
D.) I can't stop holding grudges over little unnecessary things. I noticed that if I'm stuck in a situation about for instance, I tell you to do something and it doesn't get done how I specifically want it done, my friends/family will never hear the end of it. I will hold people accountable for things that normally aren't that big of a deal, I've been told that I'm better off letting things go because I stress myself too much.

2. List of "I won't" behaviors:
A.) I won't admit that I am wrong with my friends.

D.) I won't stop holding grudges over little unnecessary things.

3. Reasons why these are "I won't" behaviors: I realized I have a lot of pride in myself. It is very difficult for me to go out of my way to admit that I am wrong about an incident because I find that I am convincing myself that the other person is completely wrong and I am always right. These habits aren't always good but I have tried to keep an open mind because everything can be avoidable. Plus it would be less pressure and stress on my part.

4. List of "I don't know how to" behaviors:
A.) I don't know how to admit that I am wrong with my friends. B.) I don't know how to stop starting arguments with my girlfriend.
C.) I don't know how to accept feedbacks from my mother without getting into an argument.
D.) I don't know how to stop holding grudges over little unnecessary things.

5. Reasons why these are "I don't know how to" behaviors:
I think the reason why It is in the "I don't know how to" behaviors because I have always grown up to have things go my way, as bad as that sounds but I was spoiled. So when things don't go as planned accordingly it almost feels like "all hell is going to break loose" for me. I've realized it is such a bad trait to have; it is selfish of me, and very self-centered.

6. Communication goal: I don't know how to accept feedbacks from my mother without getting into an argument.

7. Reasons why I chose this goal: I chose the "I don't know how to get along with my mother" because this is something that I feel is important to me to learn how to deal with my mother. I have a sense of resentment towards my mother and I feel that plays a lot in my role why I can't just get along with her. It is something I would like to work on in the long-run because all at the end my mother has done enough for me and I know the right thing to do is showed my mother I am grateful for everything.
