Punishment
I believe Cece McDonald punishment was justifiable. She was sentenced to second degree murder, where as, at first she was sentenced to first degree. Though, she made a plea deal with the attorney, she would pleaded guilty and her sentenced would be reduced to second degree murder, instead of first. There is a difference between first degree and second degree murder. First degree is more planned out, with the intention to kill, and has a longer incarceration, while second degree is not planned out and is done with passion. Even if the attacker is bigger or stronger, we can not harm them with a weapon or it can be murder. There is little things people can do to defend themselves when it comes to attackers, even if our instinct is to defend ourselves, we can attack first or kill. Texas is one state where you can shoot trespassers whereas in any other state, you can get arrested for it. I think their should be laws describing what victims can do when getting attacked and their sentence should be more proportional and fair for the
