I started marching band during my freshman year in high school. My first thoughts during my first practice were “this is too hard” and “this isn’t for me” but later in the year, I learned to enjoy it with every event I participated in. The Cedar Hill Longhorn Red Army Marching Band is a great organization that teaches a great number of skills useful for life to become successful in any situation such as teamwork, time management, and discipline.
