The Nonfiction “Harrietaumen” my story from Ann Pethy is about Harrietaumen tried and save many slaves for their freedom and also got many slaves from other places escape with the people to get to there safe house and move up to where they can be a free slave. But she also went back to the slaves to get the other slaves to escape. Cesar Chavez is also a Non fiction about how he helped the farm workers to get there rights and to get treated the same as everyone else. To this day cesar chavez has big impact on many people.They are similar because they both wanted to help people to have the same Rights as everyone else. Another thing i think that they have incommon is they both wanted for everyone to be the same no matter what or who they are. …show more content…
Harrietumen was determined to get slave to escape to the safe house. When Harrietumen would get the slaves to escape she will still go back to get every slave to freedom. When the coast was clear for the slaves to run away she will say a code word to the slaves to run away from here. Some of the slaves that had got cot in the proses will get beaten to almost death.
The second reason why i know that she had a bigger impact is that when she got to know how to get the slaves free was from her very good friend. Harrietumens friend taught her how to read the stars and what time it is at a certain time of the day. Over time Harrietumen got better and better at sneaking the slaves to the first safe house. Many slaves will make it to the safe house but many slave did make it two the safe house. Another reason why i think she made a big impact it that she Help over five hundred slaves to escape to get to freedom or at least to try to get the slaves to
